Was about to declare that this game might be a 'click-bait' - until I saw this, Also, a lot of missing things are currently in this version [such as the 2 armor pieces, displaying no texts]; in case you may want to try [or play] it's full features [highly anticipated R-18 as well], I highly recommend downloading a 'V-6' patch available at official Kagura site: https://kaguragames.com/seedofevil-patch/ Simply install 1 for English 'V-6', and you're good to go!
I feel like I'm the only person who can't get into rpgm games. The feeling of me having to do a fetch quest for some lewds or story is odd to me. And it's sad because most of the time these games have the better artstyles than actual visual novels.
I get what you're saying, but that's like oversimplifying things. Imagine watching Dragon Ball cause it has some awesome fights. I mean that's not false, but there's more to it.
And when there are lots of VNs that look better and are better they're never translated but these games always are. I've tried playing Melty's Quest, Claire the Treasure Hunter but the RPG aspect throws me.
It's mostly the fights though, no one watches DB for it's story because every DB fan can admit that the story and pacing is terrible in it. I know what you mean that there's story and actual gameplay behind these type of games along with the lewds as a bonus, but to me having to do quests or fight monsters and then get a few lewds and then do it all over again is tedious to me. It's basically do fetch quests and then get the CG you wanted, which is really sad because like I said these games tend to be well made and have better art than actual VNs.
Oh i totally know what you mean. But these games unfortunately, will suffer from repetitive gameplay because of that perception. But this isn't limited to indie, look at some giant AAA games that also suffer from this problem. It really comes down to execution. There's that feeling of "Oh, i actually earned that CG" and a faint sense of accomplishment and if done right it can be great. Same with watching anime. Realistically, i can just go read a full in depth review for 2 hours about any anime and not actually spend time watching a single episode cause that'll take me days. Realistically, reading the jist of the show without watching is more efficient. But it ain't as fun. So i guess that's the appeal in these hentai games? like, i can look up the CG for a VN pretty easily but that defeats the point of experiencing it really. I don't know friend do what you want, i just like to talk, especially with other anime/manga/VN/video game fans. lmao
I don't mind hentai games with actual gaming aspects AND I love rpgs, just the thought of hentai and rpgs together is no fun to me. Like I have to go to a town and fight this boss and then I possibly get a CG because something happens to one of the main female characters? Especially since with RPGS you have to grind, I can't imagine having to grind level ups and get better gear just to see a little porn from the game. At least with Visual Novels I can have a good story and be able to pay attention. Some VNs do to much with their story though, I remember that Huniepop like game that was uploaded on here, I literary was clicking for a straight 30 minutes or an hour for just dialogue, and when I got the actual puzzles I was fucking done and bored.
Huniepop in concept is a good game, it's just poorly made and optimized. I think it really just comes down to how we see things differently. I said this in my previous comment as well, if done right it can be great, but many of these games are also not done right. Huniepop and the one you're describing are some of those examples. I was quite disappointed at Huniepop though cause i really wanted to get into it, but the puzzle system is awful and too much luck based than skill based. Takes away the whole vibe i tell ya. lmao
I guess I'm the opposite, I loved Huniepop, and imo you it's sort of skill based if you know what to upgrade, If i wanted to go for someone who liked the green pieces I'd only upgrade that and the gifts so it makes things easier, and then do that over and over for different characters, plus if you don't focus you're out of luck, especially on the sex mini game lol
Really? man i watched tutorials, read forums, did much tinkering and it ended with no solution, or, just unfulfilling results. Sometimes, i legit can't find any tiles to match, so i think of sacrificing some by bombs, hoping it'll pull down some tiles i can match, but then i get more unmatched tiles or bombs! This is my Huniepop experience in a nutshell: I became flat broke in the game and couldn't buy shit. And i have to physically go look up a girl's profile to check what she likes. Back to the shop, oh wait, i forgot, exit shop, check bio again, go back to shop, try to buy the adequate gift, find out i have no money left, try to go on another date to earn money, get bombed with bombs, lose even more progress, the girl's mad, i'm still broke, now i'm even farther behind! It's like the game is actively trying to make me mad, and boy it succeeded. Then i looked around for glitches, thinking maybe my version has got some bugs, but no, i saw other people on steam having the exact same issue! Fuck that shit! I was so mad i didn't even look up the CG, i was like "Fuck that shit, Fuck everything and Fuck my life!" lmao
Don't buy gifts, they legitimately don't do anything, actually no gifts unlock new customization for that certain character AND sometimes Kyu will send you a gift if the girl loves the items(indicated by a heart next to it) So only buy the things the girls love and not like, you get items to help out in your matching. Also go for girls with the same traits, save up your points and max it out, along with other things like luck and the other traits that make matching easier, after that only go through the girls with the trait you matched out. It'll be harder when you go through the other girls but just talk to them to get points and then repeat those steps. Also again, use those items you get from Kyu, make sure they help you for that specific girl, because it wouldn't make sense to use an item that gives talent when you're romancing someone who like Sexuality. I've never officially beaten the game as I've always had like 1-2 two girls I didn't max out which are usually the hidden characters. The game is easy when you have the math down.
