Historically, both countries have shared interests in, as well as styles of, art. The appreciation of shared art and artworks that each country's artists have produced, goes far back more than 300 years due to cultural exchanges between the two countries. Sometimes it may be difficult for the average art appreciator to discern the differences between the two.
