for those of you who try to play this, and have issues running it on windows 10/11 be sure you have updated all drivers etc.
and go here to change the environment variables (the links a guide) this solved the issue that another was having. a developer in steam had issued this response to another on another game that had this same issue.
one can also take the advise of Rob Conner and do the same thing this way. which can be easier than the link i shared. or harder depending on who you are.
1-Open the Command Prompt in administrative mode. Type "PATH" to note the paths that are already set in the %PATH% Windows environment variable. 2- In the Command Prompt, type: path = %path%;<fullpath to installed game's directory> (Sans the greater than and less than signs). Press the [ENTER] key. 3- Next, type: SETX PATH %path% and then press the [ENTER] key. 4- EXIT out of the current Command Prompt. 5- Open the Command Prompt in administrative mode again. Type "PATH" to note the paths that are already set in the %PATH% Windows environment variable. The <fullpath to installed game's directory> should now be permanently included in the paths saved in the %PATH% Windows environment variable.
