Comparing this with Shadows of Forbidden Gods was interesting. Both have kind of the same premise but at different scale/genre, this being sort of a city builder while SoFG is more like a 4X game.
Another interesting game with a similar premise but very different gameplay is Unferat which is more of single player RPG/Survival game where you play as a single person harassing a nearby village that's living it's own life.
I ensured that it would work by replacing the 'SQLite.Interop.dll' in all folders. Idk why, but there seems to be an issue with this DLL. I replaced the current DLL with an older version from the game's v0.35, and now it's working perfectly.
For some reason the latest version 0.33.4 refuses to launch for me but v0.33 that I downloaded before does work... Anyway the premise is interesting but game basically telling you to not achieve your goal(kill everyone) in the most efficient way if you want to have any fun made me lose a lot of interest in it. I think it'd be more interesting if the goal was something like to keep people alive but in as much misery as possible. Now since it's still in development I think I'll just check back on it in a year if I remember to.
After playing for a few hours and completing the game i can say: The game engine seems solid, you could expect more content to be added. The AI is not bad, it can even assume what a person is doing and based on their mood it could lead to the worst.
I mean, I manipulate half village into cult that constantly poisoning your neighbor and become racist then kidnap them every night. So you're not alone

Geeesh, use that ad money for a better pc
gonna buy it in my paycheck
Tons of potential, the game is like rimworld.
