You mean "safe"?

Reignbreaker-SKIDROW is a release by SKIDROW, a SCENE group.

Most of SCENE GROUPS releases have been like this for the past few months bro. AV not only scans for viruses, but also for pirated files. Click on the "RELATIONS" tab, you will see a company called "MarkMonitor Inc.", it is the biggest anti-piracy company in the world right now. Their bot automatically scans all files from SCENE GROUPS, sending the hash of the scene files to the AV database. That's why you see most of the AVs warning, labeled "Hack", "Hacktool", "Crack",...

One more thing, this is a SCENE release (What is Scene? you should search the wikiΒ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warez_sceneΒ and google about this, they will explain it better than me). In general, the scene is decades old, certainly older than you (and me). It is completely safe. All the pirates you download from the internet, including movies, games, software, music, anime... are mostly leaked from the Scene. In other words, most uploaders re-upload from SCENE. If SCENE uploads the virus, then it will surely be the end of pirates.

In case you want to check exactly if these files are valid, you can use predb sites, for example:Β https://www.srrdb.com/browse/category:pc/order:date-desc/1. You use some popular software like 7z to get the CRC-32 hash of the file you just downloaded, compare it with the information on predb site, if they match then you are safe.

Thank You so very much for the "heads up", my friend~!
πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

I was wondering why recently, the majority of the Skidrow releases were triggering false positives by my Avira AV. So far, I haven't seen any false positives on any of TENOKE's or RUNE's releases, so I was starting to think that Skidrow's releases were actually being infected by a third party somewhere down the distribution channels. It looks like currently, Skidrow is "MarkMonitor Inc."'s favorite target~!

AFAIK, it appears that "MarkMonitor Inc." currently hasn't gone after the P2P (Peer to Peer) releases yet(?) though. The cracks for those games are probably not so obvious (That is, they have no specific, easily identifiable files which can be a target for creating a hash to "tag" [eg. - A cracked .exe or .dll file within a separate crack folder for users to apply after installation]). In any case, like roosevelt2362 wrote, this protection scheme triggers false positives from AntiViruses [AV]. The tagged Scene games are safe.

If you still don't trust a given game then you can try the P2P version of the same game, where applicable or wait for IGG-Games.com [Admin] to try to find, acquire, upload and then list it in another game page - This practice is not uncommon on this site (Note: Usually the P2P version of a game is posted before the Scene version but the reverse posting order may also occur).

I hope that this helps everyone~!

I guess I feel safer that she doesn't have a weiner.
Now I just have to stay out of the way of her giant sword.
