This DLC is useless without an update. you cant use the two new hero, you can see their silhouette in character roster but cant activate them.Hey IGG can you upload this update so we can play with the new factions.I already requested this update in request section about 2 month ago but no one is uploading. heres what the developers said about this update. "it seems there was a problem with the configuration of the DLC files on the Steam side. It should now be fixed. The game should patch itself and the DLC should work properly after that. Remember to advance the game time by one day when you load up your save and the missives should trigger." here is the link https://steamcommunity.com/app/464150/discussions/0/1694923613855446785/
Pretty cool tactical game in my book, but not your typical tactics game as it mixes many elements full of irreversible choices. The goal was probably to increase replayability, but it probably has the opposite effect on some people. Time Management: Similar to Atelier and Persona series. Have to do X things before Y date or else you lose. Social Bonding: Similar to Persona series. Dependent on dialogue choices and days of the week. Rewards you with perks. One Time Battles: No grinding and no farming. Attached are also challenge objectives that increases exp/gold rewards and a chance at getting an item drop. City Building: Ties in with Social Bonding, items are required to build, and other activities. Since you can't farm it makes choosing which buildings to build first more meaningful. Limited Saving: Can only save in certain places in the game that goes away after you leave (in dungeons). Can't save in mid-battle. KO / Semi-permadeath: When a character gets knocked out they can't be used again until you reach a limited save point, basically. CYOA: Choose Your Own Adventure books. The choices you make in dialogue matters as certain outcomes may reward you with items and such. If you don't like any of those things then it's definitely not for you. Unless you love save scumming. I don't know what's a worse fate. Permadeath in classic Fire Emblem, or this game. Not that I mind either one.
