Don't waste your time, the game will crash on the splash screen. No fix for it, you either can buy it or play it on game pass ultimate, there's also a Demo available.
Don't download this game if you have an APU like me (I have a 3400G) or have a weak GPU. It will work cause I played through the first area but the fps is pretty low. The graphics aren't even that good but I wish the game was better optimized. Really fun game though if you have good hardware. I will play it when I upgrade. Also, it's on Xbox Game Pass.
new windows update's must have beter protection or something. installing it correctly with all defenders off and making use of the redit map apps was allready http://hard.now once installed and played for 1min i turned the game back off in order to put my defenders back on and the game doesn't work again. or i need to put my defenders continue off or re-install it every time i shut them back on. becouse it keeps reconize it as a virus. and i can't find a way to add the file's in my defender so they get allowed :s
It didn't work anything for me too. I guess I'll give up as well. Just kinda sucks because I downloaded these files for a couple of days due to bad internet in general. Thanks for the replies too~
yo, look up the K-Lite Codec pack, its a program ive used for a very long time now that comes with a ton of .dll files, usually fixes games like these that are missing them, i usually use it for running old emulators
I don't know man....I kind of gave up too, but I still try to look up for possible solutions somewhere else. I'll post it here if ever I find one. Hopefully someone here have a solution though.
Hello, Anyone else getting stuck in loading screen (after all the logos showed up)? I can still hear the music playing. I tried to wait to see if it will respond in like 30 minutes but didn't seem to work. I installed everything in the Redist folder included in the iso, as well as disabled my AV before installation. I also made exclusions for my AV. The game seems to crash when I try to alt tab from it too.
I mean i wouldn't download this game if i were u, my specs are intel i7-7700 8gb of ram windows 10 version: 10.0.17134 and gtx 1050ti and during cutscenes it drops to the 15-20 fps and sometimes freezes and sometimes as long as 20 seconds

those youtubers must have had 2gb cards. the gtx 550 ti is only a 1gb so IF its going to run it at all its going to take some time to load. i had a similar issue running no man's sky on my old 550 ti. took FOREVER to load

Around or above the recommended...Win 10 pro, 16 gig memory, i7 3.4 GHz, GTX 1060 6 gig. You would think if I can get Forza Horizon 3 going, this shouldn't be an issue, right?
odd i did a day of looking into it i downloaded the game without issue and i installed it with no problem also so i don't know why it may not have installed correctly...... try re downloading is all i can say possibly use the torrent tho since that's how i downloaded it.

That's because your firewall/windows defender is disabled. It was for me, They must be enabled. The shortcut will only appear after everything done properly.

Ok guys, after playing for some time I'm sure this one is NOT the definitive edition. Is still the original game, full of issues and missing content. You can see all what was implemented in the Definitive Edition in the internet, and nothing of it is in this download. If you want to play the new improved version, don't waste your bandwidth with this download.
During installation language pack makes me crash, error: ISDone.dll ISArcExtract... without language pack the installation goes well, but no voices ingame. Help! :(

ISDone.dll problem (Not only this game, it's popular error), very easy to fix it :D... That mean your installer can't complete extract/install some files >>> So you should turn off your AV and Firewall before install, because they blocked/deleted cracked files while installing.
Ok so well yeas it's the bypass, which sound fairly stupid, in order to play the game just install it via the installer, make sure that your pc is set to developer mode (just search developer mode and click the right option) then go to the install directory and run me.exe, it will stay open for a while then will close, run the game, create a dummy account (make a random email, write a random phone number) then just accept and you can play, no idea why igg put it out here even if it's only the bypass...¯_(ツ)_/¯

You need to activate developper Mode in Windows Settings ... You need to create a dummy Microsoft/Xbox account and sign in ... You can now run the bypas located inside game dir (Run Me.exe) ....You should see a green panel and some "oooooooo" going on untill game package is registered ... Type "ReCore" in Cortona and select game icone in app section in search results....make a right click and pin it to the taskbar : ) took awhile looking for the crack to realize i have to read this file it seem a bypass they said :|
pls be clearer next time! this is not cracked it just bypass and the installation is a pain in the ass without clear guide. I have trouble with the dummy account all the time so no thanks maybe wait for the cracked then. what a waste of time
The thing here on first edition of the crack worked very well but then when I search for the game it disapears, way months later, so I play it till 40% progress or so, and then when i see it had disaperd i come here but the version it´s diferent, and gives me the error isdone.dll so i can even run the run me.exe because it didn´t install here so sad the game was good after all but the 10-15 awaiting and failover and over again with this version are so stressfull that just wanna that a person upload the final installatio folder of recore and send it to http://mega.nz or something look like.
It is difficult to crack windows 10 store games, just look at forza horizon and getting that thing is a serious nightmare requiring you to set up dev mode in windows to sign certificates just among one of the many steps required. It is because the game is still basically encrypted and the files are even named "Microsoft.ForzaHorizon3Demo_1.0.20.2_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe" for example. Is this the same convoluted process since it is also a windows store game?
I know it just they have to make it clear this is not a normal cracked game. With just a text file telling how to install with many step i never heard of and when i did i have trouble that hard to find the answer is the pain in the ass. There are time I don't even know how to type the key word to search for the trouble and asking at the comment section never seem to be the way to get the answer. for example I did this part "You can now run the bypas located inside game dir (Run Me.exe) ....You should see a green panel and some "oooooooo" going on untill game package is registered ..." up until the oooooo but then nothing show up and nothing work so what's next? leave the game there and wait for the answer probably forget it days later :|
the original bypass bugged out and didnt work as intended it took this long to get a proper crack working without either crashing your system not working at all or causing issues with memory etc. :) hope that helps Avi :) EDIT: also it included all the DLC up to date NOTE: I stand corrected this isnt cracked its bypassed if someone can tell me how to get this to work also that would be awesome I got past the OOOOOOOO thing but when i start the game and try to press enter on the menu to start i get a black screen flashing. - Install Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework.1.3, install
- run InstallApp.exe from gamedir
- Play from Start Menu Shortcut!!Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.1.4 (both included on iso)
