Yeah... I agree. For one, Nuclear Throne has already set the bar for a camera design that works for this kind of gameplay. This game isn't reaching that bar. There are enemies outside of the screen that are making attacks too. In Nuclear Throne, there are visual indicators for that, like the laser beams from the rifles of enemy snipers.
