Hey, we are always looking for suggestions that can help improve the game, may we know what is your take on the game? Are you encountering bugs that break the gameplay experience? Lack of contents? Or the game is simply not fun to play? We hope that the links to the game here can be updated to include the latest build, since the first upload of the build on this site, which we believe is v0.1.10, there has been three more updates that fixed a lot of issues and optimized a few gameplay elements here and there. We have removed sprinting, increase base movement speed, and changed how the stamina works, we believe the latest version is a big improvement over our first released build. We will also be overhauling the current weapon's degradation system, which we felt can be better designed to provide motivation and priority for the players. Stay tuned!
In my opinion the game is still on very start for speaking about bugs, but since you are insist to know players suggestions i have some advice: 1-add other type of weapons like bows, crossbows, guns(like rifles, shotguns, ...) 2-supporting 3rd person for main character 3-add male, female choice for main character( for this you need to make character menu ) 4-adding some skills for player and enemies 5- you can also add some class type for character( like ranger, warrior, assassin, mage, paladin, ..) 6- if you can add some story to game 7- adding various armor types for character 8- more types of enemies like werewolfs, goblins, trolls, .. you can also make many other changes but i have no idea how much is possible for you and i still respect you
Looks like you have a different taste in shooter games, completely understandable, the game is kind of niche. Despite the name of Ravensword, an RPG franchise, Undaunted is a spinoff where we give the franchise a fresh take, incorporating ideas from Hexen and Heretic, focusing on combat, weapons, level designs and of course enemies, while still having some light RPG elements. The game has a medieval settings, so we cannot add rifles and shotguns without breaking the immersions. We are crafting a story as we speak, and should be there in the released version of the game. Yes, we are also considering including armors in the game, and we are definitely adding more enemies! Thank you for giving the game a go, we really appreciate it.
It's a 7$ game, so it's not comparable to an early access 40$ final price. You can have small protect for a few buck with 2-3 hours of gameplay y'know. And genre has nothing to do with it.
For sure but it's not about having better similar-priced product, it's about complaining a game is short and "not an early acces" for a 7$ price tag. The price tag clearly show it's not a long game, yet alone a triple A one, so pinpointing these as "bad point" is beyond stupidity.
Most of the gameplay videos you see are of the first zone, which we intentionally design to be easily beatable, from the second zone onward, we introduce trap rooms, where you must clear all the enemies in that room before you can advance, and some other types of room that will take the difficulty up a notch. It is a small game that could be fun to play, I would say it is worth it to download it for free, give it a try.
Hi, dev here, Ravensword: Undaunted is our first game released on Steam, we are thankful that the publisher of Ravensword series, Crescent Moon Games agree to partner with us. The game is still in early access, the wording of "Key Features" on this page might have caused some confusion, it is actually a list of what to expect in the current state of the game. We understand that the content right now might not be able to satisfy everyone, that is why we have priced it at a lower than average price (with a launch discount of 15%), and we hope that you can enjoy the game even if it does not last long. You can always revisit the same zone over again and discover new things that you haven't been able to explore in your previous journeys. Don't worry if you can't beat a certain zone, your character's level is persistent throughout the game, you will only get stronger. It is our honor to have so many players here taking interest in the game. If you like the game, please checkout the game on Steam and leave a review. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1350430/Ravensword_Undaunted/ Thank you everyone for giving our game a try.
Go fuck youself, and your game. We'll buy the garbage you guys sell when you start selling the content for what it's worth. Charge more when it's worth more. F the people who bought it late. Whatever happened to getting what you pay for? Oh yeah, it died with the Jew tactics you're using.
Now I want to help this developer with his game, showing passion for his work and not crying about a pirated version of the game, which most people use to try a game and if they like it, buy it to help the developers improve the game or work in a new one.
Same feeling here, and for 5€ i think i will just straight buy it and have it on my steam library. This dev deserve a lot of respect. I don't understand how a lot of people here just bully him or straight insult him or their team, this thing isn't related to the game, is related to the comment of one of the devs, towards a website that put pirated games, and they treat him/her like shit...
"Ravensword: Undaunted is a FPS dungeon crawler inspired by Hexen and Heretic, set within the Ravensword Universe." literally the second line. thanks sherlock
On this site, it's (for whatever reason) a key feature. But since it's an Early Access title, it says "Early Access Contents:" on Steam... not "Key Features:". And with Version 0.1.11, it's very early.

30-60 minutes of gameplay
(in a game that's tagged with Action, RPG, Hack-n-slash)
lol. not even an early access
