It could have been one of the best shmups I ever played. It does look good, it's a true bullet hell shmup, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut.... All of the available ships are way, way, WAAAAAY too slow... It's completely ridiculous and you don't even have time to grab power-ups. In fact, you're forced to let 90% of the bonuses and stuff fall on the sides, because they move 300% faster than you. Compare to any CAVE game, like any of the Dodonpachi, and you'll feel the difference. It feels very unbalanced, and again, if this little detail was fixed, it would be a really great game. There IS a speed option, but even while using that, you're STILL too slow. I just don't understand why they chose that design...🙁 Another problem which is less serious is that the screen is simply too busy with confusing design. CAVE shmups are the best in the world because they use the best designers ever and manage to create a good contrast between bullets and background, and find a perfect balance between bonuses, bullets, etc. This is not the case here. Many enemies fire bullets which "merge" with the background, and when you kill some enemies, there are SO many bonuses and coins and stuff coming out that it "hides" bullets sometimes, and in order to survive, you just tend to avoid everything altogether. I don't know, the design just feels very confusing in general. A very minor grip : there's no windowed mode Graphics : 80 % Music / Sound : 75 % Gameplay : 35 % Edit : Apparently, this game used stolen assets? https://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=68118
