Interesting. This board thing looks a little like that game for Mega Drive... I forgot its name... There were enemy tribes, you had to lead your tribe to victory and, uh... ('-') I will try it when the links become available. (^3^)
I think you mean Mega-lo-Mania. Can't say I ever played the Megadrive port but the Amiga original was fantastic. Definitely one of the best RTS games of its day.
