Does anyone know who originally crack this game? Wanted to know can they do the same thing to Spacelords? Its basically the same game but updated. Thanks.
Question, where do we request stuff? Admins or mods, if you are reading this. Can you release Spacelords from steam? its the same game but new name updated, thank you.
OMG i just ask the same thing. i hope they do it one day. The entire game feels like a offline playable game anyway, i never had fun playing online. They just release a new update too.
Yep. I checked and it IS a free-2-pay MMO that has most of its content locked out and lacks the multiplayer, so is essentially pointless to download. It can be gotten from Steam -- faster servers and with multiplayer.
I played the free chapter a couple months ago (you can still donwload it from the PS4 Store and Steam) and here are my thoughts : Good things: Gameplay-wise it´s awesome , the asymmetric playstyle (5 good guys vs 1 bad guy) makes fights very interesting and fun (both offline and online) and can get very tense very fast. Story is straighforward : bad guys want Aleph (substance that makes you near-immortal) and you have to stop them ; the characters ooze style and personality and each one has a completely different playstyle. Bad things : the missions are very story-dependant ; in a game like Overwatch you have an objective , a huge map and free reign on how to accomplish it (the story is expanded outside of the game), in ROBP the missions are way too linear and follow a very specific chain of events within that mission (because it´s a fixed story) which makes them way too repetitive , and you have to repeat them over and over for currency and blueprints for your characters. Overall , its a fun FPS game with an awesome game concept , but the heavy emphasis on story-based missions on a multiplayer game kills the pace and makes it very repetitive and the need for grind to get blueprints and currency make it even more grindy . Personal Score : 6.5 Fun awesome game , but very flawed.
The story itself is good, but it being so heavily integrated into the missions slows the pace of the gameplay to a crawl (the cutscenes take a looong time to skip), making them feel repetitive (and lets not talk about the reward roulette at the reward screen where instead of getting the loot you wanted , you only have a sliver of a chance to get , which is infuriating). But now I've heard they're changing the whole thing and renaming it to Spacelords, making the necesary adjustments to keep it from sucking and breathing new life into it. Lets hope it works because I really like the game and I really want Spain to have some recognition in the videogame industry.
