I'm not sure this is my type of game. If I'm playing a card game VG, I like it to take advantage of the VG platform to add some visuals and character graphics. But I DL'd it just for the tuneage. Its got a nice little beat to it. I wonder if the audio can be ripped.
i tried the first 2 stages and the cards ilustration is very bad, there are some knifes, fruits, plants in a very simple form, i can't find something cool like blue eyes white dragon or dark magician.......
Kinda meh. Comparing to yugioh, it feels like the first few missions are like those yugioh puzzles that you have to win within a turn or some other specified number. Took a bit to unlock the "meat" of the game where you get to select a few sluts or some douchebag-looking dude to play in missions. Honestly, I kinda prefer playing against AI opponents rather than this "wave" based defence game. Not to mention I can't seem to pre-make and customize my own deck before entering missions which kinda defeats the purpose of a TCG. Not a lot of deck building since you "build" your deck as you go through a mission. And if you used the white haired slut, (I guess her name was Queen?) you don't even get to build your deck. Maybe they should change it to "Occasional Deckbuilding".
I love visual novels, though its nice to have a little bit of game-play mixed in to keep things fresh (like this game). Some other overlooked visual novels with game-play that I recommend:
Eushully's games: Kamidori no Alchemy Meister, Himegari no Dungeon Meister, Kami no Rhapsody, etc. Some isn't translated yet, like Soukoku no Arterial.
Rance series, specially Sengoku Rance
Galaxy Angel series - Space Battle Strategy Game
Koihime Musou
Bunny Black series These aren't well known either, at least to the masses. I would add Fate/Hollow ataraxia, but I think that is mainstream enough.
Great selection! Although a forewarning to others, some of these have hentai elements if you are not into that (for me it just detracts from the main story).
I didn't mention games like Ace Atorney, Danganronpa, Zero Trilogy, Blazeblue and VAL-HALLA because these ones are well known. At least I think they are......
You sure are dumb as fuck, VN with actual gameplay are good enough, one of them being Kamidori, an old af game that is still relevant to this day and age
