Unfortunately I don't have a virtual reality headset and I will never have one. Why? Because I'm blind on one eye.

Sorry to hear that but I can assure you that VR is not only for stereo/depth vision. Head and position tracking make huge impact to translate your position and orientation into the virtual world plus motion controllers finally make sense in VR.
