Online steam cracks "pretend" to be another game to trick Steam into believing you're playing a free game and not checking if you actually own it before letting you play the game However you can't pretend to play a free game you don't have in your library, it wouldn't make sense, so that's why you need to do that
Guys, if online fix doesn't work for you [anymore], you can fix it on your own.
To make it work again you need to change the fake game you are playing.
To do that just go to OnlineFix.ini and change FakeAppId to something that has online mode and is avaible on steam for free. Note that you need to have the game in your steam library (as you did before). The game i used below works just fine.
Don't trust all tutorials, because they're all fake! From what I've been experimenting with, all of the tutorials are a mess and disappointingly failing!
In case you have already download toxikk but still not work here is the fix: Download pico park classic edition run it then you acn run the game pico park and it still run on toxikk which can still enable multiplayer with friend
No difference. Not working. Says 'please connect gamepad' when I navigate to the Options/Gamepad, even after trying your steps. With other games and Pico Classic it works right away without any fiddling, so it's not me or my controller. But I don't need online anyway, so no big deal.

to fix failed to initialize steam:
1- add pico_park.exe as non steam game in steam
2- search for toxikk in steam and download/install
3- pause download immediately and uninstall
4-Make sure the friends you want to play with have the same steam region as you (you can change the region in the steam settings)
5- launch pico_park.exe using steam
6- Done!
