wow this is darkest dungeon all over again people just give up immediately when they see "too much RNG" without even thinking of ways to maximize their chances or circumvent it. it's a rouge-like you dont get to pick a path and follow it to the end of the game, instead you have to keep adapting to your current situation and make your own path. which is something this game does well even with it's not-permanent cards.
This is another game that my computer says contains a trojan virus. i already understand that there isnt but every time i download a game and its from DARKSiDERS its just wont budge. what do i do?
To those saying this game is awful and retarded mechanics and bla bla bla. This game is much easier, less rng and less demanding than any other of the type. First of all, consuming cards is sad, but hardly a problem due to the amount of rewards and easy duplication and dissolve of cards. I won 3 out of 3 first attempts with simple strategy. In fact the game is so easy, they should lower the rose rewards, equal your turns with enemy's and increase variety to make it more meaningful to replace the cards in your hand and force you to have fewer cards. Taking into account success rate due to rng, i'd say Slay the Spire has a 10% chance of completing a run, Neoverse has 40%, Phantom Rose has 90%. Only once i had an almost death round when an enemy had 28 attack, but i was saving a cross attack card for the exact situation and i had to spend about 15 roses to get it, and it was fine because i had 80 of them on the second floor. The premise of the game is "ever changing deck", so instead of crying for having to use your best cards, learn how to play in multiple ways.
Current rating on Steam is mixed... let's hope this guy who made the game is smart enough to change that retarded mechanic. It's just fucking unplayable. Edit: Played it a bit, you can duplicate cards when you rest, which made up the "card-consuming" mechanic. But you will use the resource which will also be used to swap cards during battles so make sure you only duplicate the critical ones (like the lightning which I was lucky enough to get one in my 2nd run of Stage 1.) Haven't figured a way to rest more than twice (once mid-stage and the one before the boss) in one session, and yes, I can't beat the boss with such deck mechanic... or I can say my deck sucks.
A beautiful game, but that's all to it. The retard who designed the gameplay should be fired immediately. There are not enough attack card but too many situational cards that are useless otherwise, and all of them are one-use only.
Fired by who? It was one guy who made everything by himself over 1.5 years. Code, art, music, even most translations was done by him. His "studio" is just him. Card balance is shit right now but he already started making patches. I give this guy a lot more slack cuz he did it solo.
what do i do?
it's literally anti-virus feature that block blacklisted file, like crack file
even my coded anti virus isn't detecting anything from the game

Also, costumes. (Which I don't know how to obtain whatsoever.)
