To those wondering why this game isn't fully updated, it's all because of Denuvo and the scene group Empress. It's not IGG-Games fault.
Empress were the only scene group that could crack games with Denuvo, however they were also "mercenaries" who only cracked a game if someone paid them hundreds of dollars/euros for it (while, traditionally, scene groups do it for free and for the challenge) - which is inane since if someone has that kind of money to spare, they'd probably just buy the game legitimately, as it would often be cheaper... but I digress.
In short, unless some other group comes along and challenges Empress monopoly, or Empress themselves return and stop being money-grubbing c****, games like these will never get updated, and newer Denuvo-infected games won't be available.
For friends who want to change the text language: C:\Users"your account name"\AppData\Roaming\Goldberg SteamEmu Saves\settings And then open language.txt and change the language. Eg: english -> tchinese

I played the game and finished it and never encountered any issues. However i believe amd users had alot of issues on this game, I don't think a fix was ever released so it's likely still there.
I can't get rid of the black screen after beating shadow joker. I've tried 15 times already. Did the Alt tab method, tried changing movie to 1, lowered the settings to lowest as possible, but still nothing's working :(
my game crash after the jail with a japanese style, when the phantom thieves come back to reality after saving a certain someone. The screen turns black and nothing happens but when I close the game I have the sound effect from them coming back to the hideout. Is there anything I can do to solve this ?
Any way to set the game text to japanese language? Did the language files get deleted in this release? Only japanese voice is possible but it says japanese and other languages are available on steam.
If you've used all the solutions you can, but still have problems with the game, try this method. Rename "C:\Windows\system32\pid.dll" to "pid_bak.dll". I couldn't find this method anywhere on the Internet and found it myself. Renaming this file resolved the crash issue and also made loading incredibly fast at startup.
Where do I find this appdata folder? (Sorry for being dumb) To fix the black screen problem you need to go to %appdata% folder, then SEGA, Steam, and finally the P5S folder. Inside look for the config file and open it with the memopad(or just any text editor) Search for the line: 0 and change it to 1 That way it should let you play

hello adam hope you are doing great so the save file actually worked or me and my friend and we were able to play normally but sadly for me and him there is another point where the same happens after advancing in the game ... the game freezes at sendai scene as the same moment in the picture then it force quit i searched for that and found out it's a bug from the game itself and they might patch it at the future but please man can you by any chance upload a save file after this scene or at sendai jail that would be awesome and thank you so much Adam

Because people get value and enjoyment from games in different ways. Take me for example: I fucking love the Dark Souls series, some of my favourite games, but I couldn't give a flying fuck at a rolling donut about ANY of the boss fights in those games. I get my enjoyment from exploring the excellently designed levels, finding all the items and shortcuts, unpacking the stories of the NPC's I meet. The boss fights, to me, are just frustrating roadblocks to doing the things I really enjoy - and if I could cheat my way past them, I would do it in an instant, because fuck them. If that's not something you can understand, it's fine, you don't really need to, it just boils down to everyone being different and will enjoy things in different ways, no one way is any less or any more valid than any of the others.
If you guys want to play without black screen just don't use your graphic's card (For nvidia) "overwrite settings" like anti-aliasing from the graphics card itself. Just let the application determine its settings don't let the graphics card take over its setting bec it messes up the game's default graphics settings within itself. Basically let the graphics options into "Application-Controlled" instead of using your preference.
rpcs3 is a thing, you can still play p5 (and not p5r) but still, it can run at 30/30 fps for me at 1600x900 res to me(because of ps3, but overall it's still ok tho)

This game is really, really good. Even a non-Persona fan will probably enjoy the gameplay, but it works best as a sequel to Persona 5. To be clear, I really don't like any other musou crossovers like the Zelda, Fire Emblem, or Dragon Quest ones, this one is more of an action RPG with large enemy groups.
If you're using winrar, you just need to extract the first part and it will do the rest of link the rest of the parts with it. So no need to select all and extract. Just the first part will suffice.
I already finished the Akane bossfight but after the fight and the cutscene. The next cutscene were it suppose to shown that they were back in the real world. And this is where I found a problem until now it hasn't been shown. It only triggers once when I click the close button. Any help in this one?
I tried copying game save files but in the launch it says no game save data found? I put the save files in the correct locations. I even deleted previous save files. Does anyone know how to fix it? I cannot proceed from smartphone scene so I really need to use another save file.

Hey, sorry to bother, but I tried this and it didn't quite work out for me, it wouldn't recognize the save file. Did I perhaps make a mistake somewhere? Do I have to bring everything to Steam before putting that file in? Do I put the contents from the winrar file into the P5S or the entire Winrar?
Optimization issue i guess, Will be fixed in the upcomming updates. Unless it's only your graphics card driver that is outdated. If thats the case you need only update it to latest version.

just finished cyberpunk 2077 and now I started to test this game. I'm not sure why people have blackscreen and to fix it they need to change movie 0 to 1. but in my case I just leave it to the way it were and tested to see if I got blackscreen or not. I'm having an issue where the game freezes and crashes mid loading screen when I try to travel manually or fast-travel from Yongen-Jaya. I'd just unlocked the ability to fast travel, and now I can't progress the game. What's the fix for this?
The game is not as popular as persona 4 golden or something. on steam as of now 27 feb I only see feedback is 2230. that's not really a good sale. for me in my case I feel the game is over price. A$99 only get 2230. what happened if the price is A$59 or less? will it get 20000 feedback positive the same way as persona 4 golden? depend on how much people buy it. persona 5 royal will not port to pc.
Also unlike Persona 4, the game it's a sequel of another one that's not even in pc, so basically only fans of P5 would buy the game and pay that price. If they had plublished P5 Royal or vanilla instead, the case would have been completely different, so yeah, we won't have P5R in a very long time.

so i try to extract the game to my desktop, and when i try opening it, it doesn't work and i have to open the game again, and when i do it gets rid of some space on my drive, when i try opening it on desktop it says "The cod execution cannot proceed because steam_api64.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."
i can play it but every time i change the config xml it will become default but i can save my config in the game...so even i can;t do fullscreen because it always blackscreen at least i can play on windowed 768p 60fps with vsync off
if you want to have cutscenes play on windows mode the game is bug even on steam or crack is still the same.. p/s delete ur old config to play with cutscenes

I think that you should definetly play persona 5 first. If you have a playstation 3 or 4, great, but I guess you don't so you can play on pc with rpcs3. I feel like the game is full of spoilers, but I don't think that there will be spoilers for the climax of the story. Play at your own risk.
I haven't played or looked into it much myself, as I wanted to play this game blind, but I believe your fine to play this without persona 5, though you may miss out on some references that is made to jokes from the original, you'll enjoy it better but might not understand some stuff, as a side note though, RPCS3 is a free PS3 emulator, and if you get a copy of Persona 5 then you can play it on the emulator, though I've also heard rumors that Persona 5 royal(the expanded version) is supposed to be coming to PC march 30th, which is next month. either way, I hope you enjoy either game!

Just a head's up, I found out that 50% of folks can run this with no issues. And the other half, who some have high end systems, cannot run it at all. The game smells of poor optimization, and I would expect a patch to be released in the upcoming weeks. So if anyone has issues running it, hold tight, at least until a proper patch/superior crack is released.
Can anyone help me out if they faced a similar issue? This game is an unplayable slideshow for me and working badly even though according to online videos people with worse computers than mine are playing it fine, and I've played games with higher requirements with no issue. Even with the settings, resolution and render scaling lowered to the point that it looks like a GBA game, it's the same degree of lag and low FPS. Anyone experienced this and have any fix?

At the very least, to the extent I lower the settings, it doesn't make sense for the game to perform so badly (literally single-digit FPS if that, long lags, screen freezes). Hoping it's some optimization bug that can be worked around.
The intel UHD tho, For that i'm not sure, I'm aware this game's not very demending, But not to that point. Maybe it'll get better with future updates, Keep in mind it just released, So updates will surely help optimize it. At least you could run the game, I read below some folks couldn't even get it to run at all haha. Did you try playing on lower resolution?
Yep, I lowered it to even 640x480 lol, same performance regardless of what the settings are, I assume something in the optimization isn't changing how many resources the game uses. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon. Thanks for the reply :)

Uhm that spec is wayyy below the minimum specs + the minimum ram should be 8 but anyways...Try turning off 60 fps and turning off all graphic option as well as go in windowed mode
