This game is a complete waste of time. One of the worst games I have ever tried to play. It was purposely made so that it is impossible to win. Kind of making fun of the stupidity of thinking man could ever live on Mars.
You can win if you use both hands. Fact is, it is possible for humanity to live anywhere with a bright star or an infinite source of energy. Water is all around us so it shouldn't be a problem. Since things grow under both elements cited, life on Mars will spring again. Mars was once our twin. Life on Mars was similar to Earth...but at some point, something terrible happened. We will ultimately discover the how whether we want to or not, and where ....it all ends.
disable antivirus when playing the game. or check your antivirus quarantined files, restore the file, then whitelist the file so it doesnt get quarantined the next time you run the game. the file is usually a .dll file. the same goes for some of the other games around here.
I think you were hasty on my problem, I had no problem with steam verification issue to begin with. What i am trying to say is that i am having trouble in installing the game, it has nothing to deal with my AV either. I realize this is a common struggle for most people who have skidrow cracked product.
Oh, you meant you were stuck in the installation. That completely flew over my head. My bad. Hope you figure out what's the problem and let us know how you fixed it. Thanks!
Am I just imagining it or is something not quite right? - At the top of the page it says "Patch #2" (which was released Dec 6th) however using the links then running the game it tells me "v1.0.0.0.5.9721.2020.12.2" in the games menu (which to me says Dec 2nd) could some kind soul help and confirm the version number I said is in-fact patch #2 or not please? UPDATE: did a google and found patch 1 and 2 elsewhere and now the game version is "v1.0.0.0.5.9813.2020.12.2" so I guessing IGG a little busy doing other stuff at the moment :)
While we cannot estimate on what is ultimately the right team to send on a Mars expedition or straight colonization, it is safe to say that a balanced team including engineers, medics, scientists, and security will be a complement team for such endeavors.
It's new ground. You want people studying everything ASAP so when shit happens you've got experts on it who already anticipated it, not a bunch of normal people who have no idea what they're dealing with.
It is not true. You want to research but you can send the tests back to the earth, so a single technical could do the work to take the sample and sends back to Earth. A mission to Mars needs roughneck people, for example miners or submarine crew and their wives, but to sends some pussy academics in space in a one-way mission to Mars is suicide. Also, we need a couple of medicals. Example, every project of biosphere failed epically. Instead, we have submarine crew doing missions around the oceans for decades. I work with miners and while they do research about the soils and such, every evaluation is done many kilometers away. It is rare to find a "scientist guy" in a mine. https://cdn2.hubspot.net/hubfs/3483626/Campaign%201/Blogs/Drilling_Roughnecks-909741-edited.png
I know an ex-submariner. Submarine crews don't automatically have the abilities to boost the chances of any biosphere succeeding, they just know how to keep a sub running. It's not magic, it's just training and being willing to be stuck in a tin can for months on end. It's weird how you just automatically assume all scientists must be pussies and it'd be better to send miners with no idea what they're doing in space over. Scientists aren't just lab coats who have no idea what they're doing in the field, some fields practically require you to get messy. This isn't a mine where we've already refined all the methods and the work just needs doing, it's the next frontier and we need to invent methods. Medical personnel are always needed, though.
I'm pretty sure we didn't colonize the moon. We sent a whole lot of pilots (I have to include the fact that a good chunk of them were also engineers) because the main issue at the time was getting there and back in one piece. I don't think we could colonize Mars with just test pilots, though, no matter how many of them are engineers. The problem this time isn't getting there, it's staying.
Because, the "scientists" onboard the ISS are the people who already went to space, and are already experienced with it. It's better to send them in first than sending in people who never left Earth. Once things go smooth, then normal civilians and others will be sent.
Mars is the real deal, while the ISS is not, the ISS is just a toy. Also, the ISS needed to do grunt work and those scientists on board never did any of those chores. The first people on space were soldiers and they do the worst part of assembling the station, then later the technicians and engineers, and finally the scientists. For example, the first all women space walk? What a joke!. Also the ISS even has +60 year old guys. i.e. the ISS consists in a half-to-year long project (usually half a year), while on Mars is forever!. The ISS already has lots of trouble with the crew, such as depression, anxiety and even a suicide attempt.
sooo, ISS is having so many troubles, yet You claim Mars shall be better? further away from Earth, with lots of work and troubles, 7 to ~23 minutes of waiting between comm, so on so forth?
Ahh, ok. See I didn't click that since I am use to there being a crack file that I have to move and since there wasn't one I didn't click it. But I guess this one has it in there already somewhere?
I can't count how many people I've encountered on this site who I've wanted to ask that question. Unfortunately, some people just can't be reasoned with, and they simply do not possess the ability to socially interact with others in a way that doesn't involve insults, remarks, and an overall terrible behavior. I can only conclude that they must be socially stunted in some way. Whatever the case, I'd ignore these people if I were you, it's the best course of action when it comes to their antics.
jo braindamaged-thing...as example: i played the metro exodus piratet game...i like it much so i got the game and all dlc...so take your pills and die happy
you're dumb. He's saying playing the pirated version is like a demo to him, he's trying it out. If he likes it, he will actually buy it and support the devs.
