I already make requests about the update on 13 april you can make another request for updates so igg will update the game. We can support each other ππ»π
I love how the patch doesn't work but the comment kept saying "there's translation" yeah its focus more on the steam version so you get translation easier if you just buy the game from steam. and yes, I read the discord already and tried the old version of patch that they said "for the pirated version" but I guess this game being update and the pirate patch didn't what F- that up.
for anyone who wanted to play but afraid because the game is not in English don't need to be afraid, there translation community of this game at discord and the translation is perfect
Im quite suprised no one talked about how this game is leagues below its predecessor, Tales of Wuxia and its pre-sequel in almost all parts, gameplay mechanic, art, animation. If you played and enjoyed the first 2 Wuxia games you'll know what I mean.
it is early access so it is too early to judge as there is some hint of extra feature like smith level teacher appreciation etc that locked in year 1. Remember EA only cover 1st year only so the story is not even finished yet. Battle wise it is actually the same so i didnt see it as that bad.
you all may want to wait until full release. in EA we just can play for 1 year school. probably u want to wait, it is a very good game. i'm eager to see the full release :)
it pretty , graphicwise reminds me of older ff games somewhat , the gameplay is a letdown though not really fun got bored pretty fast with it the art is the only good thing about it 3/10 not worth downloading
This game is pretty cheap, please support the team dev by buying it if you like the game. It is still in early access and wuxia rpg game are hard to translate and have many dialogue that result with higher cost for translating. They need to see that many non chinese based player buy the game to see the potential of translating the game ~ Else you will have to wait a lot of years until it became a standard
Don't think so. Let the chinese communist autarchy eat their own cake and pay for it. As for us, pretty sure the PCC won't mind if we poor get the People's stuff for free.
I'm just wondering, why game developer use their own moon runes as their language of choice? They are by no means stupid people and more than capable to use english language. English language means larger market thus more profit rather than local-friendly language. Is there a rule that they have to make it in their own language first then translate it?
Because they just manage to survive the sue on their Tale of Wuxia title. The dev are the creator of older version of ToW, but the right belong to their old company similar to what happened to Nintendo suing Kaga for making Tear ring saga after he depart due to fire emblem right belong to nintendo. Simply put they focus on finishing the game as as fast as possible as their priority. Meanwhile translation is secondary objective.
Because they want to do more than profit? Like promote their own cultures to their own youth? Or attract more people to learn the moon runes? Or they are targeting China as their main sales? (which seens unlikely as China is the biggest pirate)
All wrong. Heluo just manage to survive a sue for their TOW title similar to kaga fire emblem and tear ring saga case. They simply focusing their own budget to finish the game ASAP while translation is not on their top priority.
This free games website is actually a form of advertisement, i did purchase an early access game because i liked it so much from playing the free (ahem... pirated) version here
It's hard to translate such WUXIA game. For example, a skill name called 'ιιΎεε «ζ' can be translated like ' Eighteen Palm to Yield the Dragon'. Do you like this kind of translation? It can be also translated into ' Xiang Long Shi Ba Zhang'. How many people can really remember this name?
sounded just fine when Neji said Eight Trigrams 32 palms. At the end of the day, that's the translation. Most of the people here have been reading wuxia and Xianxia books like crazy, so we're used to seeing that stuff. There can't always be an epic mantra like: The Dragon Advances.
"Eighteen Palm to Yield the Dragon'. Do you like this kind of translation?" Thats pretty friggen awesome. If everything had a name for it from Kung Fu flix, the world would just be more awesome all around.
https://i.imgflip.com/42lzot.jpg wtf with all these not english language support games lately do they really want a death wish from mah boi liberty prime?
Oh man, it looks like a good game yet, you hate to see this img. again, chinese do this again to us... Edit : they seems will add english language in the future so, there's a hope after all.
These could be very interesting when it is fully released (and hopefully translated), seems like a fun "choose your own story" rpg (even if not to the extents of good/evil paths, can't tell if those would be included)
I honestly never understand why people still complaining about free game. I still understand if they pay something ofcourse they have rights to complain but it's free game and people still complaining on igg or the game developer.
So if you have the opportunity to take something free, you are ONLY allowed to say thanks, you can't critize or complain. If we give you a meal full of shit and rot, if it's free you just need to smile and say thanks you. What a dumbfuck logic you have.
Simple don't say anything and dont take it. Second this is not a shit, a shit in modern popular word dictionary is something who is not being useful for or pretty harmful and so by this dictionary this is not shit because this is useful and not harmful, thirdly that's logic don't work because this game not hurt you physically or mentally and right of complaining can only be use if you being hurt or the things you complaining about make some damage on well being or not fulfills your expectations after you buy or purchase the products with money, that the consensus of modern law being used on making logic of complain and suing sir.
So that's what I said, you advocate that if you take something, you CAN'T complain or make a critics of it. That's plain stupid logic. I will make some cookie, spit on it, put some grass on it, and give it you. You will have to say thanks you and not complain, because heck dude that free. People like you are just snowflakes that can't handle anything without going full butthurt. Learn to accept critics, Learn to accept that a turd is still a turd, no matter how much you charge for it. Learn that there is a fuckin difference between harassment and critics. That there is a difference between an abusive complain about things you take for granted, a complain about things that should be inherent to the [subject] you're taking for free. Again if you're so diligent about your takes, I hope the next time you got a free coupon or a free burger at your local store, the cook will spit on it in front of you, and you will say "thanks you my good sir, this is free therefore I accept this with the upmost respect and gratefulness. May the Ligh shine upon you for this day and the next."
ignore that son of B .. he complaining like the dev own his money.. wtf he critize here for? he think dev come here?? he is the dumbfuck who expressing his depression on smthing useless
I was gonna complain about the lack of a translation until I saw that the game is still in early access. I hope they do localization by the time the full release comes out. Looking like it's gonna be a great game. (and yeah I see there's a fan sub being worked on, but I'm really not into collaborative fan subs, they're super inconsistent.)
I doubt it, for the developer is Huoluo Game who got nasty experience about translating their game to English. Like Tale of Wuxia and Tale of Wuxia prequel. The only hope that the fans have is getting English Mod in near future. If there is one.
It is a bit late, but translating Chinese Wuxia game is way harder than translating Japanese games. Because Japanese Games usually use common / everyday Japanese speaking language, that you can easily translate without any Japanese cultural knowledge. While Chinese Wuxia is full of Chinese cultural reference, like poem, idioms, etc that you can't literary translate to English, without prior knowledge of Chinese culture and such.
Because some people request game despite the language barrier just in order to play them or test them out (would even say the lack of translation is an arguement to ask it here instead of buying it) And most of these Chinese game aren't translated because far more english people speak Japanish (or japan people speak engRish) due to the popularity of the nation/language. So for a Jp amateur Dev it is easier to find a translator that it is for a Chinese one.
nope....it will be very tortured. Even myself can read can write can speak, I still feel pain in the ass when playing chinese game. Oh wait, who put staples on my chair? hmm...
Request by commenting in here will not be heard by igg i think
