guys i found the solution. go to main folder properties and uncheck read-only( i dont even know if this is necessary) and then i updated vc redist. just google it if you dont know what that is. im running the game right now. i had the same problem everybody had, window popped up for like 1 sec then it closes immediately.
The game didnt work for me at first. I solved it by doing right click, properties, and unlock in every file on the main folder (including the 3 executables). After that run panzerpaladin.exe.
i made that, did not worked for me :( i execute the launcher and changed some stuff but nothing. Can you send me your savegame or ini files? its so weird that shovel knight run perfectly but not this one :(

I have windows 7 64 bits, downloaded a .rar file, i think the game is portable? i move it to D: and it still wont lauch, only gave me this error: MIssing ms-win-eventing-classicprovider-l1-1-0.dll Any solution?
I found something.... if i look at the properties of every exe, they are blocked... i unlocked them. Now the launcher is working but doesnt matter what option i check, game still not working xD also i uninstall that update, reboot, clean the registry and install again, nothing changed.
windows 8.1 here and i dont got any troubles only the antivirus but that problem got solved by adding the file to exceptions this may sound ridiculous but specs?

naah it is not, i did double check my anti virus and no file in its quarantine. it just not run at all. ps i did extract file on desktop but still no luck.
8.1 here but i doubt that it might be the os it would be ridiculous since this game has joke specs i bet my very old laptop might run it without issues EDIT: did you tried the compatibility method?
