Was really excited about this game, due to its movement tech being really fast and fluid - even had my luck playing this game at Gamescom, when it was still in development
But unfortunately that is all the game has to offer. Everything else is really under developed, and it would be fine for an EA game... if it didnt cost 20$.
Give it a try in a year. Its a nice cake, just really underbaked with too much sugar on top
Has a nice potential but it's really "empty" atm the moment also dare i say it feels lifeless (npc's are just literal golems doing specific tasks) and ai might not be the smartest but the worst is that you cant give them orders nor make laws or edicts for your empire too,
so for exemple your npc can go very far away to collect things and thus get in dangerous territory not a big deal they survive most of the time and new npc arrive more or less quickly but still annoying and not very productive.
Plus mod support is really needed !
And worst there is no run/world setting unlike most game nowadays who are "sandboxy open worldy" exemple like Ark , palworld and alot of other games it's a shame that we cant tweak everything exemple : ressources gain , gathering speed , npc generations , damages , density of fauna and flora etc ...
Also water is useless atm too even tho you can swim well and it look decently pretty it's still sad there is at the least no fishers hut and proto fishing because there is alot to do with water in general on top of basic fishing.
Seasons changes are nice but clunky and too sudden there need to be better transitionning and also it always make my game lag when it happens nice tho that flora seem to have multiple grow states tho it also not "organic" and smooth.
(even with the new updates the game has a long way to go but i hope they take the right path and keep working kinda like for exemple dwarf fortress or rimworld or no mans sky !)
