This game is... surprisingly enjoyable. It's probably going to fly under every possible radar, but if you're up for a different take on turn-based combat, a wacky aesthetic and some low brow humour, this RPG ain't as bad as it looks. The combat is both the main attraction of the game and one of the more flawed parts. It's very, very close to being great, a few adjustments here and there would do wonders for it, but despite that, it's solid, interesting and pretty fun. If only the game was moddable... Beyond that, there's not much of a story to speak of, and the few characters you meet are as crazy as they are flat. But the progression is tight enough that it keeps you going, at least for a good while. So far, it's keeping me interested enough in wanting to see the next enemy the game's gonna throw at me, the next area I'm gonna have to wade through, the next weapon I can get and how it behaves... What's left is to see if it can keep things interesting in the long run.
