Yes, if you read through the comments you would've known already. An excerpt from the one literally just below: "Fun fact: the actor doing the French voice of the main character is the guy doing Bruce Willis, so for once, I think I prefer the French version of this game. 😆"
Little update! I just played it a bit and I'm really extremely pleasantly surprised by the graphics, cos they 100% kept the original "feeling" of the game. The fact that it doesn't look like photo-realistic helps a bit, actually. If it was, maybe it would have damaged the incredible atmosphere of this game. It's funny cos in my memory, the game did look like this already! ha ha I shows that we can't trust our memories, but it also shows that the developers really preserved the game's essence. It just feels like the old game, but better. It seems they didn't change the controls at all, cos I felt at home completely. lol They're still a bit slowish and "delayed", but if you're used to it, it's ok, I guess. Little weird problem: no audio settings at all??? Wow it seems they released the game a bit too early! Voices are way too loud on my side, so I hope we can change this later. Patches incoming! lol Fun fact: the actor doing the French voice of the main character is the guy doing Bruce Willis, so for once, I think I prefer the French version of this game. 😆
Im gonnna say this once so listen up THIS GAME IS AWESOME. The remake nails it the second i saw this on steam i ran over to hear to make sure yall have it and you delivered THANK YOU Downloading it now :)
That's a great game from the past. I remember the great (for its age) graphics and how cinematic the game was. I hope the remake is as good as the original. Anyway thanks IGG so much and of cource thank you CODEX.
I'm also SO glad for the v1.1 version, which I got from GOG. A real pleasure to be able to play again this old game on modern computers. I played it right after its first release in 1999. The only complaint I read about this one is that the main character seems pretty generic. But anyway, for nostalgic purposes, I HAVE to try this new one! lol
doesnt matter if nathan drake existed, the point im making is Nathan drake is generic looking, so is this guy. there's nothing standing out about it, and the fact it's Just a coat of paint on an old broken ass game doesnt lend itself any favors.

generic doesnt begin to describe this vanilla hero.
