And when i looked at missing interface error, they usually say to stop steam from running, but its not even running and don't do on startup already
....so can you share the fix with the rest of the class then? I'm glad you got it to work, but you really didn't give any helpful info other than that you changed the appid of another fix you had.
Sorry, my fault. Some guy posted many links for the fix of that other game, though i don't remember what links were working and what were dead already, but here it is: Fix
Some random dude here. I discovered a workaround... Delete both "steam_api64.dll" and "steam_api64.dll.bak". (We're cutting Steam off from our pirated game here, technically). Anyway, I am able to get into the main menu, create a character in sandbox mode, puncture a hole in my ship and patched it, talk to the ship computer, drive around the ship pod and parking it back, save and quit, returned to the sandbox successfully. So, playable, I guess.
Be careful though, deleting files for fixing aren't really good. Essentially, I am bashing around the files until it works.
