guys you can still play the game without the windows 8+ patch which is currently down on the official website and mirrors.

What I did was first install windows 7 (64 bits) on virtualbox, after that download and visual novel reader, install atlas and lec (to translate the game to english)

after that change the windows locale to japanese and install the game, after that run visual novel reader and then run the game, VNR (visual novel reader) will create a pop up where real time offline translation will happen for the game.

Congrats! you can still run the game and translate it to english in 2023!

So,anybody managed to find a solution for the startup crash issue yet?

Anyone having problem with the game when on startup? Just load a bit and do nothing (the screen I meant) and when you check the task manager it's still running despite there's no running window? Then your problem the same with me! After I check a dream solution below, it's link not working, btw.

For those who didn't know what to do with the ".Bin" file, Just change it into ".iso" if your computer allows it. Works for me to extract it out for some reason

I download and extract the .bin file and I run the game, then it sudently close with no error or anything and it happen everytime. Any can help me solve it??
