This is released from the scene, it never has viruses. If you don't know what a scene is, then search wiki, google,... In case you want to check exactly if these files are valid, you can use predb sites, for example: https://www.srrdb.com/browse/category:pc/order:date-desc/1. Then match the downloaded file's CRC32 hash with those sites, if it matches, you're safe.
PS: All releases from SKIDROW, TiNYiSO,... are like that. Don't confuse their names with the websites that use their names. If you're not comfortable with this, it's best to never use their releases (releases always end with the scene group name string at the end). Lastly, maybe you've only recently started pirating so you don't know the basics. SCENE GROUPS has been around for decades, they are the core of piracy, releasing not only games, but also movies, anime, software, xxx,... I've been pirating for more than 40 years, and they've been around for a long time. All releases on the internet are mostly leaked from SCENE. They have strict rules. If SCENE ever releases a virus, it will definitely be the day of pirates' downfall.
I've been using IGG for years, and I've never encountered this specific 'false positive'(Win32/Kepavll!rfn) before. The question is: Could this 'false positive' be a new tool used by SCENE GROUPS, or could it be caused by a recent Windows update mistakenly detecting them?
It's been like this for years bro, or maybe you don't pirate enough to see SKIDROW releases. There are a few things to know:
You can try downloading any SKIDROW release from the past, you will see it gets a bunch of warnings. But is it a virus? Of course not, they have been around for decades, before I was even born (I am not a young person of course :D ). Otherwise they would have been removed from SCENE. Most, if not all uploaders still use SKIDROW releases today.
The names of those alerts will change over time, for example today it's called Win32/Kepavll!rfn, in a few months it might have a different name, I don't know how they name it, that's what I've been able to track.
Most of SCENE GROUPS releases have been like this for the past few months bro. AV not only scans for viruses, but also for pirated files. Click on the "RELATIONS" tab, you will see a company called "MarkMonitor Inc.", it is the biggest anti-piracy company in the world right now. Their bot automatically scans all files from SCENE GROUPS, sending the hash of the scene files to the AV database. That's why you see most of the AVs warning, labeled "Hack", "Hacktool", "Crack",... click link below, you will see:
I think this account is just a troll account. Not necessarily a bot, but if this guy just keep on commenting like this without even trying to digest explanation given below, then they are not even trying hiding it.
Beware of sudden random AV virus comment like them. Giving warning is fine, but this guy is clearly up to something considering his comment history.
There is English support via the English interface.
There is full English support via the English interface, English audio and English subtitles!
SKIDROW using INNOSETUP to create the installer, are getting the same false positives ("Wacatac.B!m", Sabsik.FL.B!m", "Phonzy.A!ml",...). Please turn off AV. If you need more information, search google, dozens of people talk about this, for example:
