crack doesn't seem to work- when launched it asks to update through steam and links to the steam page and then closes.

  2. Disable internet.
    2a. Install game.
  3. Block game in firewall.

Don't know if this is an anti-piracy thing in the game, but all the enemies have been replaced with zombies.
