the game starts fine . but when I start "new game" and it asks for name and then I "start" game . it crashes. start the game exe again and go to continue , select the save slot then select "start" and it crashes again :( ..
i copied the crack files also ran with administrator .
I googled it and apparently was something that had to do with that lame ass denuvo but, if you look at the file and it's less than 20 mb then that means the people that cracked it modified it and it should be fine... i guess
anybody has some tips as to how to run the game smoothly. Frame rates are very choppy and my laptop is overheating as hell. Any tips as to how to run the game more efficiently?
turn off your antivirus and redownload. something got deleted which id have to assume crack files were removed since WINDOWS defender does that for nearly all these games....*you might be able to check your antivirus software and see if its in quarantine if so, you can tell it to add the files back then add and exclusion for the entire folder where the game is.

Nier is overhyped i see why some people don't like it, everyone knew that though, some people will love the game, other people will find it fairly generic. If you like constant transitions between genres and generic gameplay then you might enjoy this game, if you're expecting something more engaging then you probably should look elsewhere

Is a build without the DRM shit that make the game run sucky of course most of you wont be able to loaded unless your PC is powerful enough this is why you see people complaining that it wont load or there laptop is getting hot etc etc... in my gaming PC run just fine speedy and very responsive.

there is no save bug as far as i'm concerned, i think they mean the first part of the game when you can't save until you finish that part since the game tells you that it doesn't have an auto save feature and that you must play the game to find out how to save, so yeah don't die at the beginning if you download it, oh and try downloading some mods to have a better experience like a better textures mod or the FAR mod if you can ;)

Only problem with pc port for this game is that your small robot start to fire by itself which can sometimes cause you big problems if he attacks enemy 10 lvls stronger then you :) Masterpiece with a great story line. Of coz if people do not like hack and slash games then it would be boring to them. Same like I do not like to play games like buldars gate or pillars of eternity because they speak to much but can not say that games are trash just because i dont like that kind of gameplay

If you prefer gameplay over story maybe the game isn't made for you, but definitely players that values a good story along with some flashy badassh moves, then they should play Devil May Cry because GOD it has so many badass moves, but seriously, if you like a dramatic story and you don't get bored over repetitive gameplay because the story makes you excited, the game can entertain you a lot and bonus points to english and japanese dub for being both really good
The game is 4 years old, in 2018 it was extremely popular especially towards the fandom - b/c of 2B's ass cheeks mainly.... The point isn't about how its rated now, the fans/players have been waiting for 4 whole years for the lazy devs to fix the game. If anything the patch update is "OverDue"
I played it twice. Once after purchase, for around an hour and a half. Second for about 15/20 hours. Both time I stopped because I was bored and didn't feel any excitement to boot up the game again. I didn't find the game that good beside the exceptional scores. Combat was repetitive and button mashy and kinda grindy at times

Dont need Special K if you get the Update Fix they released today, which is the main reason you see this game on the front page again. You might need Special K for Texture mods, but performance fix "FAR Mod" isn't needed anymore.
