Second, Download the latest version of the WinRaR archiver, that's if you don't already have it on your hard drive, if not then download the latest cracked or free version of it, I used the cracked version, not too sure about the free version, but it should work. Right then here we go. After you've downloaded WinRaR Archiver, install it on your PC or Laptop, then navigate to the directory where you downloaded the: Nex.Machina.v1.06.rar setup file from this site and open it using WinRaR Archiver, do not attempt to extract it or it won't work because the file is corrupted, Just open it using WinRaR. Note that, while watching WinRaR create a new fixed file of your corrupted one, It says " Searching for recovery file....." then it says " recovery file found " then it says " repairing corrupted sectors " that should be the corrupted data in the .rar archive. WinRaR can only repair the corrupted archive if it finds a " recovery file " included in the corrupted archive that it's trying to repair, this " recovery file " is placed there purposely when someone chooses to archive or compress an important file that most likely might get corrupted, just like the one we've just repaired using WinRaR. It's a failsafe in case the important file does get corrupted. If it does, well no problem, WinRaR will search for the recovery file, when found, it compares it with the original uncorrupted record of data on the recovery file and corrects the mistakes made by the corrupted archived file, when it creates it's new fixed uncorrupted archive file in .rar http://or.zip format. Then voila!!, your new fixed file fully extracts like a charm. Now, let us all give thanks to the individual at http://igg-games.com or whoever it was for including a recovery file in the Nex.Machina.v1.06.rar PC game setup file, beacuse if it wasn't for that individual who was actually wise for doing that, Well....WinRaR would not be able to repair the corrupted or damaged archive file properly, and I mean thoroughly indeed. Same here, not working for me. You can see it loading in task manager then it closes itself. I did apply the crack. 😞 Edit : I tried with UPDATE v1.04.0027... It's even worse. Now I get a message saying "nex_machina.exe has stopped working"...
Oh wow I should have updated my comment at that time. Actually, I did manage to run the game after a while, back then. But I had to wait for the game to be updated, because my CPU was so old that it was incompatible with it. ha ha I never had a problem with the game after that. Thanks anyway!😘
