The attack combo was questionable. It's a timed event that disappears with a blink. I do not understand what was the decision to make it so.
Games with turn-based combat tend to be highly repetitive to a point you wish you can just skip the animation entirely. If the game doesn't have such function CheatEngine's speedhack is worth a try.

You can hear key press reactions, but the rendering is completely dead. Proceed only if you can tolerate it.
