To fix your application error go to the prophet file (when mounted to your disk drive) and copy the steam files and the nfs.exe files to your game directory and it should work. Worked for me
you need to take the crack, he's on the iso, after mout the game with deamon tolls, there is a folder in named "Prophet", you need to copy all files in this folder into you'r game folder, and the game will work.
