Sheeeeeesh, the good times of racing games will never come back, no matter how many "coutachs" they add, all the 80's colormodes, etc. All moderns devs in big AAA studios are 300% woke yag trennies and HATE the players. Nothing new for racing games under the Sun since ~2009.
this was an issue on the legit/paid version (apparently) still is. mod's might be able to fix it..
edit- after playing for a few hours, ive had no actual issues besides hating the "lift+throttle on while steering" to drift bullshit. considering i just wanna take a corner lol.
anyways, game runs perfect for me for now. 1440p, max (mostly) settings, drivers are up to date, windows 11 25h2, if you dont have the "all in one" C++ redist from techpowerup, i suggest getting that. (never hurts just in case).
Heat and Unbound are so f great fun game/s, the sounds, the tunes, the wraps,the cars , the feel....THE COPS. with Unite mod or Heat evolution mod its perfection(mods only work with legit version sry but still great game/s). PS: framedrops and f audio in some story cutscenes/intro its unfixable just skip them its on legit version too EA f up.
Actually the mods might work with this pirated version. See the thing about mods is, they require the latest version of the game which is why they could never work with the pirated version before, because it wasn't the latest version of the game. But AFAIK, this IS the latest, most up to date version of the game so all the mods should work
Hey thats a great news ty B ) , i am glad,for everybody coz with mods game is so f good...i am doing new playthrough with "Heat evolution" mod and it feels like new game "released in 2025" lol.
check forums about this, the exe is the same size as it was from my understanding. indicating "denuvo was not removed" and just hidden. (similar to a few other games) that's done this in the past. voices38's NFO file states "DENUVO and EA detection for protection".
the size of the exe says a bit considering past releases that removed denuvo got "smaller" in size. this is also something to consider.
Yeah I noticed those mentions in the .ini when I was changing my username but there's no mention of it on the game's steam page which goes against Valve's TOS
a while back there were a few games that did this, dead rising, RAGE 2, while dead rising was reported to valve. nothing came of it from all i could find. considering dead rising (remaster) just removed denuvo sept 1st this year, one would have thought "valve should have to step in"..
to be clear btw, you are changing "Player" in the anadius cfg (located in the main directory) to a name your wanting? as i found no other locations with a config that had a username.
Yep, in the anadius.cfg file, right at the start there's a user section. By default the username is voices38, I just changed that to my own username, I do that for just about every game I download from here.
That Trails Rising, was kinda goofy.
It was rickety, it kept failing if move any folders or content around.
So I gave up on it.
But that probably has more to do with Ubisoft and the French then anything else.
This looked like the smoother, more streamlined version of Payback.

My game doesn't launch i have tried installing all dependency but it just load (as seen in task manager) and exit. Nothing happens
with that said, do you have your antivirus set to "exclude" the installation directory, and where your downloading this game to?
