i am not parent but i feel something wrong about your comment... if you talk about sex he may be at least 15, and also you make it sound like he playing VN all day is something bad... my problem with it is... why are you feeding him with VN, instead encourage him to go out find friends and have sex?.
I mean, not exactly sex if he does not want it, since he is young, but maybe having some friends could be nice for him instead of being always alone playing VNs. Other than that, I like games too and I would like to play something with my son some day. But he play only VNs, while I play several different genres (action, RPG, adventures, etc.)
Make him play VR Chat lol. Although I kind of am unsure if thats a good idea since people there may have nsfw models(even tho its against the rules to have them in public rooms)
For those who care, this has no adult content or even romance. So unfortunately, we don't get to bang the qt Native American dark elf girl, or anyone for that matter. Trigger warning: It's voiced entirely in English. :^)
BaBBy'S FiRsT vN? It's not really about the language chosen, it's the quality of the voice acting. Most people familiar with VNs are well aware of how bad they get. For example, Eve in this game sounds like they found some random cashier at Walmart and asked her to voice a VN. Her voice doesn't fit her characters art at all, and she's the MC. Jessie isn't as bad. The others are pretty cringe though. It just detracts from the experience, and is quite jarring. This VN isn't nearly as bad as many that I've played in this respect, but it's certainly not an example of "good" either. It's completely understandable that they can't hire top voice talent for a small game like this, but that doesn't really change the message. Idk why I need to explain this tbh. It was mostly a joke for people who read VNs, because they know exactly what I'm talking about.
Compared to some other English voices for VNs this wasn't even half bad personally It still has moments where the dissonance between the art and voice is really distracting but otherwise I think it was pretty alright
I don't really mind the voice acting in this VN overall, but I totally agree with Gen on the notion that Eve's voice doesn't match her character at all. I mean, she looks almost like a high schooler, but her voice is that of a disgruntled war veteraness.
For a only a first chapter, this game is pretty good. Interesting story and characters, pretty music and art. And I learned something about the history of US National Parks from this game. I don't live in the USA but I was always interested in US National Parks and I always wanted to visit them.
There wasn't anything about Jesus in the game, but I use only The Holy Bible as a source for all informations that I need about Him (I am a Christian, btw).
he is going to end like the fat comic book guy from the simpsons

Good, another pure visual novel.
But seriously though why is English voice acting a triggering factor?
