I read the web novels back in the day. It will always baffle me that they rushed the demon continent arc yet painstakingly adapted the school arc even though it was notorious among the fans for being the slowest, most boring arc of the series.
From reviews this seems extremely low effort, you need to watch all of the anime which is most of the story, and you better off playing a different 1st person dungeon crawler party game as its mainly just that.
