I fulfilled the graphic requirement and even set it to be the lowest quality but the game kept froze suddenly and auto quit many times. This also happen after i configured the game Settings (not even in the game yet)
Cant even head to the 1st red marker on the map , half way is ok. Its still tutorial i guess, as i quitted the first two cutscenes/movies.
Btw i can use USB controller to play this but the in game option said no controller was detected and only displays keyboard input commands.
no any problem , very smooth , just a very small game, how could it froze MY hardware Win11 cpu14900KF RTX4090 NVMe SSD 64GBram VSync On play with keyboard no run as admin
8GB of RAM might be a bit insufficient ? When the computer has low specs, sudden peak situations can indeed cause lag, even though this game seems to only use 1GB of RAM.
Maybe you could try lowering it to 30FPS and see if it still lags? That way, you might be able to determine if it's a hardware issue
Always playing with 30fps to save battery / or even plugin in. VSync also usually On, but i did playaround with it. No luck.
I am not using a gaming laptop. If RAM is an issue then it is possible, bro although i believe Mons Hunter Stories 2 has even stricter requirements than this series. I even rebooted my pc b4 gaming, always & this laptop cannot upgrade RAM, hu hu
I did start the game using the Launcher and also another exe.file but no luck for both. However, i did notice that u do not need to install this game. Once extracted , then i transfer the whole driver to my C-drive GAME folder (only 1 ssd drive for my laptop).
I did run the game as Administrator as well. Usually did this to all pc games , however i am not sure if this may be the issue.
Ah, my comment above is to respond to @youdianbaoqi :D... (The way fastcomment sends notifications can be confusing in nested comments)
For your case, I suspect that your RAM or VRAM (VGA) seems to be overloaded. To check, I think you can do it manually as follows:
Please turn on Task manager during the game. Do you have 2 computer screens? If so, turn it on the other screen. Otherwise, you may have to Alt + Tab yourself during the game.
The main purpose is to check whether your RAM or VRAM is close to 100% during the game. This is often the cause of crashes, slowness,....

VRAM i am not sure. I think i selected "Let the System decide" (not auto) option, instead of manually set the upper & lower limit.
