No matter what I do, the doors don't open. Even with the cards they do not open. Is this a game bug? Any anti-piracy system?

They do open normally, right? You enter and exit them by pressing "Up"

When i try to start this game i just get this message "Cannot connect with Steam. This may happen after a new version of this game is installed. Try to exit from the Steam Client, wait for 20 seconds, and restart it again." I can't tell if this is a problem with my pc or the game itself...
