The game is enjoyable... for the 1st 5 mins and its just boring from there
Graphics are polygons which is okay
The game mechanics are like Civilisation game but without the armies and the building of cities. and you build road and resource gatherer.
The cities themselves spawn at random locations and you need to "connect" the roads with the resources the city needs. you actually need to connect the resource gather with a city, a road running trough the hex does not count.
You are given limited amount of "resource buildings" and road connections per month and it is game over when cities have a more than a 5 demand of anything.
Every city has limited amount of connections to a resource gatherer or to another city, while the resource gatherer can only connect to 1 city and not with other resource gatherer
Trading between cities are manual and requires a lot of micro-management so good luck if you want to make a city dependent on trades for a specific resource. the caravans are slow as well so your boned when there's an emergency
You can't plan ahead since the cities are spawned randomly which means at the end there are cities that are on one side of the island gathering resources from the other end of the island
I would have rage if wasn't for the background music was so nice and relaxing 2/10 has potential, too nit picky at the moment but i can see myself enjoying such a game. this game is too simple but also too complex due to the reasons above. Tropico is much better game and far more enjoyable due to the random events alone.
Also not good UI.
