@For newbie: Don't forget crack before launching the game (otherwise you will get the "no license" error). By doing one of the following:
Method 1: before installing the game, check the following box:
Method 2: or after installing the game, open the iso file, copy everything in the "RUNE" folder, then paste them to where you installed the game, enjoy ;) (see tutorial image here if you still dont know: https://igg-games.com/how-885614657-to-install-game-and-update.html)
Supports VR play only. Does not support standard play. Don't have a VR headset? You can try to play this VR game with a Google Cardboard (Or a copy-cat clone) viewer, an Android phone and VRidge (freeware)! For more details, see my post. 05/27/24 - Update VRidge has now gone commercial (The latest version is now being sold on Steam). However, you can still download an older version for free or try another freeware alternative like ALVR (Download here ALVR works on some, but not all smartphones). Don't have VR controllers? You can try to play this VR game with two mice using Driver4VR. See demo video on YouTube. Not sure which "cardboard" headset to buy? Check out the following buying guide: "10 questions to ask before buying a Google Cardboard VR headset". Hesitant about playing VR games due to the current fact that not all games support all VR headsets? Then see the post concerning an effort to standardize support for all VR headsets by all games through OpenXR! (You may need to refresh the page as the linked comment may take a while to load up in the page). "Coming < Specified Date >" (Not to be confused with "Coming soon") means that this game is in or near the Final stage and not in the "Early Access"/mostly playable Beta stage! Those downloading it should consider it as a Final or near Final "Release Candidate" of a game that may be worth looking into! For more information, see here. The best news is that it's already here on IGG-Games.com! There is full English support via the English interface, English audio and English subtitles!

(mostly bc the space i have to play them) but, i went out my way to make space for this. yea, imo its that good although i am an openworld RPG DIEHARD fan. this is a dam good game for VR. if you liked the previous metro games, this is one youll wanna try. or Paradox Of Hope (megaup is the only link working as of two days prior to this comment). which is no longer available on steam.... i quite literally said "there is a 0 day patch" lol.. the version on IGG at this time is the early/advanced access release that was given to people who purchased early. so the patch your linking to just released today, while the version on IGG was posted yesterday.
this patch thats released now, is for the live (to all who bought) the game. request for an update in the update channel. (i already have, but the more the marrier). i.e. the more who request it, the more it will likely be seen. only one request per 24hrs
I've been trying to play, but it keeps crashing, often right after loading or during gameplay. I've updated my drivers, reinstalled, and even lowered the graphics settings, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else had this issue? Any fixes that worked for you?
