I'm seeing lots of comments here that the game should be bought but i honestly disagree, not only does it use denuvo but it has the worst license agreement i have ever seen, not only does it mention you do not own the game but it also says they reserve the right to remove the game at any time! Regardless of how good or bad this game is it should honestly not be monetarily supported.
Do people not read those things anymore? Cause that's not new. Heck, the Kingdom Hearts re released had a license like that. Just about every modern game that shows you the license agreement at the start has that same clause
ATLUS' persona and SMT series is one of the few games that actually made me feel guilty pirating the game since they made god tier games since SMT nocturne PS1 era, so i actually bought the game Not saying y'all HAVE to buy the game, just my personal opinion They deserve every every bit of penny
I'd be much more inclined to buy them if they didn't use shit practices like Denuvo, the Atlus Tax, and making a "Golden/Royal/Complete" version of the same game a year or two later to double-dip. Sure, they make great games, and I do purchase the ones worth money, but I'm not buying the same game twice, nor am I going to pay for a Denuvo ridden product.
Haven't tried it yet but I've seen a youtubber stream it and it's very Persona coded, down to having a very similar social link system called Follower Bonds
Assassin's Creed Mirage entered Steam today. I wonder, if the trick with the demo's exe would work with the full game, too. The actual makers of the game deserve the money. Those fat farts in the upper levels of Ubisoft do not. I legally purchased all ACs from the first one up to AC Valhalla.
Best is to buy and to also get a backup from here, so that we do own our games in the end.
Heard that before and I support this 100 %. Just look at how GoG is handling things. It's the only acceptable way. Games are getting bigger in size and price, but user rights get cut down to a minimum, with some arrogant f*cker at Ubisoft stating "gamers have to get used to not owning games". WTH?? 🖕🖕🖕
I officially declare war against these elitist airheads with burning hatred! 🤬❤️🔥 Piracy never felt so right in terms of EA and Ubisoft. I want to see their walls crumble and get stomped into the ground.
Set the sails! 🏴☠️ Ready the cannons! 🏴☠️ The enemy is in sight! 🏴☠️
LOL hahahahahahaha. They underestimate the enemies of Denuvo LOL. They thought Demo no need to apply Denuvo. They didn't know or forgot what happened to FFXV that got bypass by using demo.
Okay, I could play for the first 2 hours of the game, and besides the loading saves problem which already has a fix uploaded here, I found no bug nor sustantial issue for now.
Of course, this being an Atlus game I'm barely at the beginning, but just sharing my experience so everyone knows: 2 hours, 0 bugs, 0 crashes, 10/10 game
Edit: The fix works and now I can properly load a saved file, however be aware you must delete your previous saved file if you had one. I strongly recommend applying this fix before you start playing
i dont get with this part this release is not a proper crack, but it is playable. This mainly uses exe file of Demo version to be able to bypass Denuvo.
Apparently there are soft locks in place that don't let you progress past the first boss. I heard that there's a V2 crack that removes that but I dunno how legitimate that is
That has been solved yesterday. The patched exe solved the map softlock issue and game seems to be fully playable - further testing is required as to whether the game can actually be completed.
How can I keep my saved game? Whether it's the autosave or a manual save, if I exit to the game menu, I can load it again. But once I close the game, it only allows me to start a new game as if I didn't have a previous save. I hope someone can help me with this issue.
same issue, it did save tho in the appdata folder just not loading it, which means the load function isnt working or is loading from a different folder
I already bought this (40 hours in) and I would buy it again.
It's an incredible game, well worth the wait and the money. But as a long time ATLUS fan I also understand people not wanting to support them for their atrocious DLC practices and Denuvo bullshit.
Glad people can experience the game anyway, hopefully though that doesnt discourage atlus from releasing demos for their games in the future
not sure, but for now I see no problem, as it's simply using the exe file from the Demo version (released on Steam), then pasting it over the exe file of the full version that was just released :D...
(this mostly works as usual, many games that used Denuvo in the past actually worked this way lol)
lol, and funny enough it still works sometimes to this day. Not just this game, but i usually try to do this with dozens of other software (as long as they have demo version) 😂

They deserve every every bit of penny
I mean how I get it to work??
Basically, it's breaking the 4th wall and indicating that background music, at least in this universe, was a spell by fairies. xD
I'm probably going to buy this game, but it's running a little wonky on my Shadow PC, so I'll need to wait a bit before the bugs are ironed out.
Definitely worth a try!

We deserve it. We buy. We keep.
I say if purchasing isn't owning, then piracy isn't stealing.

Or in short:
Or the game sees a GoG release.
That would be the best option.

I'm more than willing to pay once it drops in price though since I love JRPG's.
