Wow... What a weird little game... I assume we can say it's like a metroidvania, but... VERY simple though. I admit I didn't play long, but then again, the gameplay was so atrocious I couldn't play more than an hour. Only because of the level design. It's one of the most repetitive and simple games I've ever played. There might be several "floors" in a level, they still look and play the exact same. And enemies can't get dumber than this. Advance, stop, shoot dumb enemy, rince, repeat. I say it's a weird game, cos the pixel art is very nice... And with such assets, they could have made a GREAT game, imho. Then again, is the pixel art "authentic""? I've read on Steam that this game uses stolen assets. (only sound effect though, apparently. Some come from Super Metroi (Super Nintendo) and others from old Sonic games on Megadrive) This game could be a very nice homage to 80s NES games, really. If ONLY the level design was on Metroid level...
