So far, the best "3D movement Vampire Survivor" game. But the core is still a "Vampire Survivor." Every critique that I gave to "other vampire survivor-esque games" applies to this game. It is fun until you unlock most of the things. But once you unlock most of the things, it doesn't feel fun anymore. Repetitive without variance.
Once you unlock most of the things, you struggle to find a reason to play more. I mean, yes, when you are so bored without knowing what to do, and you can play a couple more rounds, killing another two hours. That is okay, but it's not like it makes me want to play because it is fun. It's the type of game you throw your brain away, and even if you finish a good run, it feels so pointless. It's not like playing FPS; even though you also don't do things much differently, I don't know why it just gives me this feeling for all "vampire survivor-esque games."
Up to a certain point, if you play low difficulty levels, you grow so fast and feel there's no challenge whatsoever. You play high difficulty levels, but you can never keep up with the growth, and ultimately, the game doesn't offer you that many synergies. You can be strong, but not synergistically strong.
My final verdict: once you play this game, you don't have to play other "3D movement Vampire Survivor" games if you've never played any "3D movement Vampire Survivor" game in your life before. But this game is only marginally better than any other "3D movement Vampire Survivor" game. What I mean is, you only need to play one "3D movement Vampire Survivor" game in your life, and you should be set. If you've played other "3D movement Vampire Survivor" games before, then this one is not a good enough reason to play, as it is just another 5% better "3D movement Vampire Survivor" game.
Is there some way to port the save file from the pirated version to the steam version? I just bought the game and don't want to do everything all over again if i don't have to. Thanks!
They're on the Nexus Mods page for the game. Just order the mods by release date and they should be on the first page. There's one for Fox and one for Sir Oofie
