wow i just played Coffee Talk and Vallhalla yesterday... Still playing vallhalla though. And it's strange that i havent heard about story of seasons until now
Yeah, Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons was the number one inspiration for Stardew Valley and other games. I remember spending a lot of time doing nothing useful though. So be sure to use a guide for the game you're playing, or you're going to miss important events, and you'll be at a loss. There are also the spin-offs Rune Factory (RPG + farming) and Innocent Life (sci-fi theme). In regards to VA11, the devs are working on another game, but it's not going to be released any time soon.
Story of Seasons is what Harvest Moon is. Natsume, however, owned the publication rights to the name "Harvest Moon" outside Japan, and refused to give them back when they decided to change publishers, so they changed the name. Natsume then has tried desperately to make their own Harvest Moon games, but they typically suck.
Yo! Haven't played that in a long time, now. Not since my friends stopped playing in the middle of playing, leaving me in an MMO without people to play with. :P
Thank you good sir. You just gave me another purpose in life after I got bored when I finished Graveyard Keeper. On second thought, Pathway is tactic game, not really stress relieving game. Cave Story+ is not for PC, and don't get me start with Terraria, since it's stressful. The only thing I haven't tested is Owlboy. Trailer seems good.
Owlboy is good. Pathway is roguelike so if you lose the stress is low because you carry over some benefits from previous plays. Terraria can be stressful for sure... didn't think about that. and finally Cave Story is on PC and is available on this site... "+" just isn't. https://igg-games.com/cave-story-free-613718474-download.html But it may be too stressful late in the game.
My first thought when I saw that walrus/seal thing at 1:30 was "why would it even need a fishing rod when it can just catch fish on its own"? Then I realized that it might be too big to chase fish.
A rightful contender for the cutest game of 2021. If you want to balance your chakras and feel one with the nature while casually catching and delivering fishes of various sizes to non-suspiciously enormous animals, then this game is for you. All similar but varied gameplay and art styles somewhat similar to Stardew Valley.
and most of them weren't actually stress relieving though
