This update introduces significant architectural improvements, with a focus on image quality and performance gains.
Quality Improvements Enhanced overall image quality within a specific timestamp range, with the most noticeable impact in Adaptive Mode and high-multiplier Fixed Mode
Improved quality at lower flow scales
Reduced ghosting of moving objects
Reduced object flickering
Improved border handling
Refined UI detection
Introducing Performance Mode The new mode provides up to 2× GPU load reduction, depending on hardware and settings, with a slight reduction in image quality. In some cases, this mode can improve image quality by allowing the game to achieve a higher base frame rate.
It's almost like magic. Using it for RyujinX to make Totk run a LOT smoother and sharpened.
One tip is that you have to play around with the type of Scaling you use. For Ryujin FSR and NIS worked for me (AMD Card owner). The others barely did anything. Also simply doubling the frames look better than setting it to a desired framerate.
What it can't do is fix moments where the game lags heavily. It still lags if it would be a second of lag, but even that seems a bit better.
I easily get 90 fps now with dips into the high 60s instead of 45 into 30s.
I have a Sapphire Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB and I emulate every game perfectly especially with lossless scaling. It's just that you have to use pretty much all emulators to find what works for your setup the best for each game. Sounds tedious, but it's not that bad since they can use the same files for the games (in fact my emu library is the same folder for every emulator). So I just start X in ryujin check the the fps in the menu and get to the part where I control my character. Then I do the same with citron. I don't use yuzu anymore (don't emulate much either since it's mostly crap). I get what you mean by artifacting, I had issues running Echoes of Wisdom in ryu, then I just switched to citron and it worked out of the box perfectly. Sometimes it's the other way around.
havent tried citron but ill give it a go when i decide to get back into pc emulation. my handhelds handle my emulations. i wonder why i havent tried emulating totk on some of them. might be my motherboard because i would doubt its my gpu or cpu but who knows. but what i found out is that since the artifacting is so prevalent in my games, when i searched i practically didnt find anyone else talking about it. i would think more people would be like this is unplayable. and its only on totk.
Could IGG please update to the latest version as of March 8th? It seems to be a quite important update, introducing a new feature called AFG Adaptive Frame Generation technology, which makes the game run even smoother. This is a step forward compared to the rigid 30fps to 60fps conversion. I hope to use the latest version,
There is English support via the English interface. Support for fourteen (14) more languages have been added to this application since the previous language support notification in my previous post, eight months ago!
There is English support via the English interface. There are now 30 languages (including English) that are supported by this application, 1 more, compared to the 29 languages (including English) as seen in my previous comment!
For those who don't already know, this game utility's supported languages notification is posted below in my previous comment! Note: Although not yet updated in the official language support notification in this game's Steam page, the latest June 11 update includes support for 6 additional languages for a total of 36 languages supported by this application.
The newest supported language, "Toki Pona" is a unique, constructed (Versus a naturally developed) language consisting of linguistic elements derived from 8 different countries. It is a minimalist language with only 120 words to its vocabulary and has communities on Facebook, Discord and Reddit (The largest community consisting of 230,000+ users is on Reddit)! The languages is written using hieroglyphs (See the entire set of hieroglyphs below).

thanks a lot for this, it helps so much. in nintendo switch eulation it makes 30-fps-games also run at 60 buttersmooth, its awesome. also i can finally play "command and conquer 3 tiberium wars" in 60 fps when the game actually is limited to 30 by the SAGE-engine
you can also make vlc mediaplayer run movies at 60 fps that way. currently re-watching every movie i have in 60 fps, its like a dream come true! i remember when people bought TVs for thousands of dollars to have framegeneration, back then advertised as "fluid motion" or something, now we can have it for free on pc!
By updating to 3.0, it made Zwei II perfectly achieve a smooth 60FPS without any ghosting. I feel incredibly happy, thanks to the inventor of Lossless Scaling and IGG for sharing!!
This program is really doing god's work, but I never really got great performance out of it a couple of years ago with a GTX 1070, Ryzen 7 3700x, 4x8gb@3600mhz CL16.
Holy Hell , that is god software !! , it can make my old 30fps fix game "zwei ii " to 60fps !! jeess crist , amazing , i think can work diablo2 too these 30fps old game
Probably my favourite game. I think I've spent about 1200 hours on this baby. The Help section is helpful and a real gem. I really like reading the How To Start section because it tells me how to start the section. The duck is cute, easily the best character in the game, though he's kinda OP. I especially like the part where the duck says "Help" on the top part of the window. I think this feature is under the help section, which again, is the best section. I like the hidden easter eggs that make great pop culture references as well. Like "Force Resolution" from Star Wars, or "Anti-Aliasing", which I think means to keep illegals off the border. There's also a puzzle aspect where you can "Hide Cursor" and then try to find it. It's really hard. Still haven't beaten it yet. Great game. Time to go kill myself.
