I can't believe this game is in the Front Mission universe. How fricking difficult is it to make a turn based Front Mission game like during the Playstation 1 & 2 eras. Front Mission 3 & 4 were awesome.
I don't know the Front Mission games but this game could actually have been good even if it not the same style as the previous ones but they just decided to make this shit even if they had Yoji Shinkawa and Takayuki Yanase
Front Mission 3 for the PS1 and Front Mission 4 for the PS2. You should try em in that order. They were awesome. Although.... I never got to play Front Mission 4 but I know its got from the game reviews.
Nobody's saying that the old front mission games are broken or lacking. What I'm trying to say is that square enix shouldn't have given up on the tactical RPG approach when making a new front mission game. Instead, they choose to completely changed the genre to third-person shooter with front mission evolved, and now this terrible stealth game. This is only my assumption but, back then, they might've thought that making turn-based strategy games won't cut it anymore for the 21st century or something along those lines. Yet, fire emblem prove them wrong.
The term doesn't mean broken games. It means don't try to drastically improve or change something that's already awesome and hence requires no major improvements.
I know what you mean dude, but that doesn't correlate to what I'm trying to say. Read my reply carefully. I love old front mission games. And no, It's not like I want them to copy what fire emblem does in any way. I just wish that they had continued what they did and not change the genre. That's all it is.
Yes that's why they should have never changed the genre. The way I see it, they were tryna copy Armored Core when they made Front Mission Evolved. And in this game, they were tryna copy Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain (or maybe the MGS 4).
oh my god. I feel like Empress is currently doing all the Denuvo work. where the heck is other denuvo cracking team? CPY is dead or something. CODEX haven't cracking a single denuvo game recently.
if some of you are brave enough to play this, is super recommended to play this with a controller because this game has one of the most weird key assignments in any other pc game. well, that and the fact that the game is shitty as fuck and a horrible port. Still baffled about that empress decided to crack this but it looks like she is running some tests with this game so she can crack yakuza like a dragon.
have not played this on pc, but I think maybe you exaggerating on being worst keyboard controls. Like JRPGS have some weird weird controls" z,x,u,j,n,k,i,o,l for example. Again never played nor looked into its controls, just to often see this comment then look into it and it not that bad.
holy shit they actually did it... they actually cracked this edit: good lord it runs like shit in some areas, no seriously if you have to look like half way across the map your frames will die quickly, when its not lagging thuogh its bloody smooth
Oh............ boy......... In case someone needed a recap of why it has the reviews it does on Steam, see the timestamp at 1:12:00: https://youtu.be/xLOtUnOl6Qg?t=4321
After seeing this, I remember a game that came out long ago called Alpha Protocol. It was criticized for a lot of things and yet I feel it is a much better game than Left Alive. At least I enjoyed it, though it was more RPG than stealth.
Aloha Protocol did have it's problems with a lot of janky systems and whatnot but it was still fun as hell. I still love the fact it is one of the very few games with choices where you have an option to just straight up be a massive dick in practically every single conversation.
Ah yeah, I'm very familiar with Alpha Protocol even though I've never played it myself. Raycevick has a very good, thorough review on that one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dyPBkJuFdU
The cracker was Empress, and according to her this game is nothing but a stepping stone for her real target: Yakuza Like A Dragon. It was a testbed for cracking the newest version of Denuvo, and if that's true I think it's very much worthwhile.
Started Days Gone as a new game. Also playing some DS3 modded with Cinders and a Romhack of pokemon red. This pandemic sure let's me game a lot!. What are you playing?
Yeah i played it when it came out a few hours but couldn't finish it. For some reason the characters and story couldn't grip me enough to finish it. Before playing it i had just finished Far Cry 5 so maybe i got a little burnt out on that style of game. I remember the gameplay and stealth was good but i faintly remember being annoyed at some characters/story ¯_(ツ)_/¯
lol wow just like i got burnt out on mario i played that game so long , hey have you ever played the call of duty games ? i found one i was wanting to download but the very first review was the guy saying after he restarted his pc it messed it up after installing the game i think it was call of duty earned in blood , do you think thats true ? cause i really wanted that game
Can't help you there since i haven't played a single call of duty XD. I'm more an rpg/survival horror fan. Also really bad at shooters for some reason (probably why i haven't played em much).
Looking into it the main issues are really bad optimization for PC and unbalanced gameplay. The story I hear is actually pretty good so it's not completely irredeemable. Apparently Empress is testing some new program and wanted to start "from the bottom" but he buried the ladder here. I would've gone for Scott Pilgrim to test things out. Something good but not really high priority.
