Pixel art is nice, but the game mechanics is not working too well.
Some hidden chest requires weapons to break up roadblocks, but usage costs SP, so a thorough search is difficult. AND you cannot backtrack to a previous stage, if you miss sth, it's gone for this run. Later stages where you need SP to progress also suffer from this, having to make enemies respawn grinding for SP.
Fitting all movement to just one slot makes switching midair beteen dash and hopping (a little) schizophrenic. If the developer adds more elaborate stunt challenges it will not be just a nuisance.
The overworld view with fanfare is too long, giving the false sense that the game is expecting input.
Didn't get the best ending, but I'm certainly not gonna start all over. It's over then it's over. Also wish there were evil endings, like becoming insane and sacrifice sb, or just become the new replacement.
