Is there any way to open any options menu so I can change the controls and go fullscreen? The keyboard controls in this game are literally the dumbest configuration I've ever seen in a game, and that's no exaggeration, but I can't find any way to go to a menu to change them. It's unplayable with keyboard controls.
Recommend playing this on controller. Playing on controller is already feels weird, imagine a keyboard. (I even stuck on tutorial like 15 mins, it feels weird) I haven't encounter any saving issue. After saving, and then you quit game, and start back the game, use both of your joystick like you move the katamari into the save file to load, it's not as simple moving the navigation button. (I don't know why they did that)
Putting games on the switch is much more complicated than that. You have to install a custom firmware to the switch with the sd card first. there are many instructional videos on how to do that. It is very risky though, because the switch might be bricked at any time after or during the process. Any mistake will cause the switch's system to mess up, so be careful there too. I'd recommend just playing the PC version, but if you really want to do the switch one, be my guest.
Much as I love the game, I don't see HD graphics adding much to the game, in this instance. The art style doesn't really lend itself to more details with HD graphics.
It's kind of the opposite, the art style benefits quite a bit from not having all the jagged pixelation when lines aren't going in one of the four cardinals. Also, the much higher resolutions make all the tons of detail present in the game more visible and enjoyable. The HD version released for the PS3 (I think) was applauded because it did this exact thing, upping the textures and overall resolution so the already beautiful visuals could shine brighter.
For those interested, there's a very similar and very fun game which came out in 2008, "The wonderful end of the world" => https://store.steampowered.com/app/15500/The_Wonderful_End_of_the_World/ IGG: http://igg-games.com/the-wonderful-end-803816575-of-the-world-free-download.html I have never found better game in that style since then, but maybe this one will be?😋 Edit: I just played for an hour and I hated the controls. In "wonderful end of the world", it was much easier to control your "ball" with the mouse. But here, it's keyboard(don't...) or gamepad, and using the twin sticks doesn't feel intuitive at all, not even mentioning the over-complicated mechanics. Turning around is way too slow to be enjoyable. Again, the other game I mentioned is much better. Here, it feels very sluggish and therefore frustrating especially when you run out of time. Isn't there any way to control with a mouse, really?
This one is a classic, there is just something so satisfying about starting out small as a bug and then rolling things up into a bigger and bigger ball until you are eventually mowing down buildings. Also the environments themselves were pretty neat. Hopefully they did a good job porting it.

This is a very, very, very strange game - but cool sound.
