There is English support via the English interface and English subtitles. Just to be clear, guys and gals - Jackie Chan is a Chinese martial artist who practices Kung Fu and not a Japanese martial artist who practices Karate (Not that you have to be Chinese to practice Kung Fu and Japanese to practice Karate - Both martial arts disciplines are open to anyone regardless of their race or ethnicity).
Yes, Jackie Chan did co-star with a young Jaden Smith in the 2010 remake movie "The karate Kid" where Jaden was supposedly taught Kung Fu despite the name of the movie but I guess that's all about making money in Hollywood (With respects to Pat Morita, RIP). If you're going to play this game with a confused "Hollywood" mentality then you might as well listen to the following playlist while you're playing this game! LOL!
Yeah I would prefer this be called Kung Fu Survivor but eh, it is what it is. And what it is, is quite an addictive take on the horde survival game genre with some nice pixel animation of all those martial arts moves. :)
IMHO, "Martial Arts Survivor" would be more inclusive since it would cover all forms of martial arts imaginable like Taekwondo, Muay Thai, Escrima, Capoeira (There was a rare video game made of it and of course, it's here on this site (Available upon request. More info on Steam.)! Maybe the new slogan of this site should be "We have it all!" instead of "We are family!" LOL! Just kidding!) , ... etc (Too many in the World to completely list) and of course, Bruce Lee's own combined marital arts creation "Jeet Kune Do". Click for the original 1080 x 1080p size picture.
Just ask that in Request Page. Search for Pinned Links. Click at "Request new game........". But before requesting on that page, read the rules and pinned comments
Agreed. I just gave it a go and it's a decent spin on what was already a tired genre. I've gone ahead and bought it on Steam now since it's only a few quid.
