a few hours ago i downloaded around 27 (!) Kairosoft games in a row and i have no idea why......, , having not played any of them before , must be the jolly style of them - can any fans of these tell me if they are good or should i not expect too much ? i am also a total noob at strategy type stuff

Great developer, one of the frontrunners in early mobile gamedev. They are the only phone games I've consistently reinstalled and replayed every few months for over ten years now. A lot of the games have some overlapping mechanics, so just play whichever theme looks interesting to you. Personally Kairobotica (space themed rpg-lite) and Grand Prix Story (a simplified racing management sim) are my favorites.
