Game works fine, it is still in alpha stage, gigantic space map & almost accurate detail and travel. You can track distance , our solar system also exist. Gravity pull exist, moons also exist. Sort of realistic, except cities & space ships. Nice efforts.
Since I hate No Man's Sky graphics and physics, I'd say it's better. And this game has a much better atmosphere, thanks to its nice colors and music. NMS colors make me vomit... lol I felt like it was a bit lifeless though, and not deep enough... You feel like you've seen everything quite fast... And you can't walk around planets! That's a big downside, if that's what interest you in such games. If you want to explore planets on foot, you really don't have many alternatives... I guess the most interesting options are now "Empyrion Galactic Survival", and "Osiris New Dawn". http://igg-games.com/empyrion-galactic-survival-free-download.html http://igg-games.com/osiris-new-dawn-free-download.html I think they both look and play better than No Man's Sky. They're the best space/exploration/shooters at the moment, imho. Oh there's Space Engineers, I guess? But I haven't tried it long enough... I think you can explore planets too...
Nowt like NMS,this is a commercial fork of the free Pioneer game which is based on Elite, you are better of down loading that for free the last update is October, this seems to be a quick cash in and not as well developed as the free Pioneer.
NMS is far better than this, these twats are calling a years old Alpha the finished game so Valve doesn't delist Jumpdrive from the store. It's not even worth downloading. Not joking.
NMS and JD have a lot in common from what I can see in the desc. Jump warps explore randomly generated planets. Space stations. NPC flying around. Space battles. No obj(kind of). Graphics are similar. Upgrade you're ship. NMS was a disappointment so I'm wondering if this is to.
It's been yeaaaaars... I really thought it was abandoned.
