Fair warning to 30 series card users, at this stage of the game it has killed multiple legit users graphics card, the game even gives a warning upon start up that it can kill your hardware in the 30 series specifically.
Edit: Supposedly the dev worked with said legit users and the GPU maker and it was something NVIDIA had to iron out with drivers, some of the 30 series cards (Gigabyte brand) are made poorly and brick under too heavy a load, I guess just run an FPS limiter either in your NVIDIA control panel or the game just to be safe.
Edit Edit: Whelp, an EVGA user just reported their card is also bricked so we're back to play at your own risk.
and plu thers tons of reports saying its fine for 30 series.. out of 1 or 2 trolls... now factor in their shitty computer build or and brand of card and quality control, if they didnt get a lemon, software and hardware issues.. So in above statement.. This is just silly band wagoning" trolling>

1 Or 2 trolls? Buddy the devs literally confirmed it was a real problem and that people were having these issues, literally anyone can go to the steam forum and see you're lying, you had people in the demo bricking, you have people in the EA bricking and it was way more than 1-2.
It's also not a 'ton of reports' saying it's fine, it's a few and a 50/50 or even a 60/40 ratio is not good enough for people to be risking thousands of dollars in replacement fees.
This indie dev can claim it isn't their fault all they want, but when games like Valheim, Diablo 4, New World had the same issue and they went on to fix said issues and it no longer happened after that, clearly something can be done.
It's crazy to me that you're both wrong about it being trolling and your other post you're actually not far off with people having poor cards to begin with, most games just have guard rails set in place so even if their card is faulty this doesn't happen.

I doubt it could.. People forget that "quality" control exists with graphic cards are a issue, where they"LL DIE OUT due to stress/over clock/heat, and whatever. Assuming its poorly un-optimized, which probably constantly uses 100% gpu uses and over heats gpu.. and if said GPU can't handle it... factor in any quality control issues...
Unfortunately increasingly so, New World when it first came out did the same thing and then again with Diablo 4 when it was first coming out.
So I personally wouldn't risk it if you're in the 30 series till they've 100% hammered that out, cause while I was okay in the beta/demo a $20 game isn't worth risking having to buy a new GPU especially right now.
Edit: I've now seen reports that weren't as bad as bricking the GPU, but 40 and 50 series card users have either had crashing or hard system lock ups, only game I can think of recently that's done that to mine was Killing Floor 3, the devs are blaming it on hardware right now.
If anyone wants my advice? Just avoid all this and go play Void Crew or Deadzone Rogue.
As the co-op game is definitely a 4, as a single-player game, I attempt to give it a 3/5. But in the end, I settled for 4/5.
The game is a blend of Left 4 Dead, combined with Overcooked esque co-op game. I've played quite a few "2D/2.5D 4 player co-op control a spaceship," and I've also played many Left 4 Dead-type games. This game is basically a merge of the two in some way.
But all things said, it was a good co-op game. As for single-player, at the current state, there isn't that much content yet. It really gives me the feel of playing Left 4 Dead alone. It's fun when you are exploring different mechanisms, but ultimately, there is no storyline. The quests are highly repetitive, and up to a certain point, it's just grinding materials for upgrades. There aren't that many strategies, and the amount of maps is pretty limited. That means if you complete two sectors, you will likely exhaust all possible scenarios or maps in the current state of the game, which you already know what to do. It's just a matter of how fast you can complete the objectives again and again.
I really think it was a high 3/5 as of now for single player, but rounding it up is okay if there will be more content added in the future. But if the game can go up to 5/5, it needs at least twice the amount of content than the current state. so I'm not sure it could ever achieve that level of sophistication. But we can always hope.

Is it legal to release something that does that?
If I tried to run it on an XP machine,
I would only expect it not to play.
